I don't think that it's Allen. I've coached & am annoyingly observant. Also, after 8 years '22 was the first season I'd watched. When in high-pressure games, the Bills' play-calling on offense becomes "hike the ball. Then uhh, Josh'll think of something." I think that they're calling insipid routes (that first play shown calls for Diggs to run Towards The Middle) *_then_*_ Diggs_ has to improvise. There's no way the route called for him to then go to the corner of the end zone. This is why I think there was more disconnect with Gabe Davis. A lot of guessing _had_ to be made because of the routes called being incomplete. Otherwise how long could it possibly take for any receiver to *remember* to turn right or left? After firing Dorsey anyone else notice that McDermott let Brady truly run the offense uninterfered with for a grand total of one game? Then it went right back to mainly those type of plays, with only one difference, Shakir was schemed open on shorter routes. so about the Only Change was that Shakir was open _on_ shorter routes. Even if one *wants* to blame Dorsey or Allen, what, did Shakir only appear after Brady took over? Did McDermott not see the problems for over a year? Even looked at as Dorsey or Allen's fault, the HC is responsible for their coordinators.

To be honest, our teams are alike on how historically since the 2000s, we have been having to watch the Colts and Peyton Manning win the division each year. I disagree. He had multiple games the offense had less yards but he was also still second on the team in those games in yards on many days or 1st in some cases. That's after changing the offense. It's too bad they changed the offense. That narrative would work a little more if he hadn't had 5 100 yard games right before it.

Did you not watch the video? the "best throw in NFL history" was late and underthrown, look how Diggs has to come to a complete stop to adjust to the ball and get mixed back up in the CB he had just beat. The amount of leeway Josh Allen gets every season is just astounding to me.
