The one move I'm genuinely shocked that this front office has failed to make is putting a beast opposite Hutch... If they could have snagged a Danielle Hunter(or similar), it would completely change them instantly to a nightmare pass rush.. the One thing they are really lacking. I hope Davenport/Houston/Cominsky step up somehow. I think it's the difference between being real contenders and not.

I'm reading my old comment & I went about this wrong, possibly because I might have left links galore before on your channel. Let's start with kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7B_ZLOk2taqj4k.html. Seen together, Fields' college highlights are better than Caleb Williams'. This isn't opinion. Psychologically though, people reject this because we Cling To Our Preconceived Notions (PNs). Well? Cling to 'em. Just show me the footage that proves this wrong as you cling to it. I watched Justin Herbert NFL highlights & Fields' are comparable. Herbert makes everyone's top-10 list, most people's top-5 proving people can separate out His Talent from the W/L record & play-calling. Why not give Fields that too? I don't know. There's way, way more. The 1st 23 minutes of kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fM-ZfpViu-Ctj6M.html *listen* to what the former NFL QB is saying, it's important. Go watch tape of the Titans & Giants' o-lines. Have you _ever seen_ play that bad? There are more Intentionally Missed Blocks in that one half of of one game than other QBs have to face in an entire season. Even Neal *gets his hands **_on_** pass-rushers.* These guys are running away from their blocks & rubbing Fields' nose in that fact. Now for stuff you likely don't know. Fields called out his coaches, publicly, no later than week 7 of the '22 season. If Bellichick had responded to Mac Jones' fiasco With Silence, we'd All Know he was on the outs with Bellichick. How did the Bears' entire team respond to Fields? With silence. From that point on, everything is suspect because if you're on the outs with your own HC, he's not gonna call plays designed to make you look good & himself stupid. & herein lies the problem. Even people who remember this *Refuse To Mention It.* But how is your own HC telling the world they want to move on from you then calling plays designed to make his decision look like the right one not a factor in analyzing stuff? Especially when you see how he calls for the o-line to set the QB up to be injured? I mean at that point, how little does it matter that he's Slightly Inaccurate at times? There's way, way more to this but I get the feeling no one cares. We have a guy who's More Talented than Caleb Williams & for some reason NFL fans want to see him ousted from the sport.

It was 2.6 seconds which is slow for Sam's typical 2.4 seconds. I can count to 10 in 3 seconds as well. It's not accurate. The play was painfully slow to develop. One of many of EB's problems.

Against top tier corners they get shutdown. Jahan isn’t physical enough and Terry is still a body catcher. I’ve been to FedEx enough to see them getting owned. Terry still can’t get out of his breaks. He’s not a WR1. Just a try hard NFL player on a terrible team.

Overcompensating for a terrible defense was Sam's problem. On 3rd and long down multiple TDs he should have thrown check downs. Screw winning!

This is why I believe Adam Peters didn’t do anything drastic to “fix” the offensive line. A QB who can’t play in near perfect rhythm of the offense can make any Oline look bad especially in the NFL.
@HTTR.Redskins12 күн бұрын
Nobody would trade with him. This came from his own mouth. He tried trading up to the first round but was denied. He's a rookie GM with a trash offensive line.
@craigsmith451810 күн бұрын
@@FinalAnthony exactly. The line was average at worse. Their problem was not being able to count on consistency from the most important position on the field at any given point. That's why Jacoby made the offense look so good.
@skipranger588713 күн бұрын
the reason is EB . Sam is a great QB. EB called 4 shotgun plays on 1st an goal from the 1 yard line. and we didnt score from the 1, 3 feet from the goal line and EB calls 4 shotgun plays
@HTTR.Redskins12 күн бұрын
There is absolutely no context to this video. I can point out Jordan Love's completions in a perfect pocket and show you how bad he is. This pocket doesn't exist. Dexter Lawrence destroyed Nick Gates. Dolphins shut down their receivers. I was at that game. Dolphins scored 3 quick TDs immediately. Sam was playing behind entire game. His interception was a do or die play and McLaurin isn't the greatest route runner. Never broke back to the ball. EB's plays took too long to develop.

@craigsmith451814 күн бұрын
Not a victim of bad coaching. A victim of poor work ethic. He had playmakers and a system that wouldve made him a superstar. Look at what Jacoby was able to do with it in limited reps. Had he improved by putting in the work, he would've been on a fast track. You never heard about him coming in early or staying late or any extra work. He just went out and played backyard football as much as he could. That's why he failed.
@ErikSeastead13 күн бұрын
@@craigsmith4518Jacoby came in and played like a vet, but they didn't gameplan for him at all. Backups often come in and ball out for a series or two but it's a different story after there's film in them. Just look how long it took defenses to exploit Sam. It was most of the way through the season.
@craigsmith451811 күн бұрын
@@ErikSeastead thats not true. Jacobys second game playing, which I think was Seattle, their corner said they game planned for him because he had played the week before. He still operated at an ultra high level. There is no doubt that they were tanking or else they would've played Jacoby and let Howell learn behind him for a couple seasons. Just tired of the narrative that anybody else was to blame but Howell.
@diegobarco860210 күн бұрын
@@craigsmith4518 just look at the NFL, nobody wants rivera, del rio or Bienemy...they were not good. Especially EB. Seatle wanted Sam because he is good!!! It was just bad coaching. Mahomes choosing not to break the bank on his contract, Veach’s superior drafting for a few years, a top 1 or 2 defense in the league being so so young….this team will be a problem for years to come. In fact more so in the coming years. If they can get their passing game back to where it was, the league will have to start changing and making rules to counteract how dominant they are.

Agree on LRZ with the wrinkle discussed this week. He can also kick (and punt if required) If he makes the team I would also expect to see trick plays and bluff trick plays. Have him line up somewhere weird occasionally or just run random routes. He's not going to be as good at route running as the others. But tell him to run to the endzone a fast as possible...
@FilmStudyForRookiesАй бұрын
Would def be interesting to see him run some go routes, you put Kelce on the same side and have him bring down the safety. Then see what LRZ can do 1v1.

@FilmStudyForRookies or have him run off the shoulder of Kelse rugby style I think people have got too excited about him throwing laterals, he probably wouldn't be trusted until he proves he can read the game. But receiving laterals on the run, in a little bit of space. He's in his comfort zone and the defense is confused

No. For 5 games in '23 the offense increased its production using the same plays that made the _Bears,_ the Chase Claypool & Darnell Mooney-led *Bears* the #1 offense in the league for 3 weeks in in '22. & the 5-week streak was after they acquired Sweat & a new DC. Matt Eberflus boasts about meddling in the offense to the extent that the press doesn't *bother speaking to* Getsy about it ever. So when 'Flus was busy with the new DC & Sweat, _those_ are when Getsy took over. The bad play-calling is Eberflus. *All* 8 games Fields started that Getsy called with less (or possibly no) interference from Eberflus were better than all 22 of the opposite. That's a 100% correlation. & there is way, way more. Wanna talk o-line & _why_ Fields is getting hit & scrambling all the time? The Bears commit plays that I don't think PFF or any other rating system has categories for, like simply not trying to block. "He holds onto the ball too long." What, when the pocket holds & all the receivers are open, or when he's scrambling for his life? "He can't read defenses." Then how or why is he looking off CBs & Safeties? Also, it's something you can't unlearn. So if he read defenses in college (which he did, can be proven) he still knows how. & I'm _still_ not done. Remember when Mac Jones was caught seeking advice outside the Patriots? Imagine if Bellichick had Said Nothing. We'd all _know_ Jones was out, right? Fields called his coaches out twice. No one responded. Not the owner, not the HC, not the GM who hired the HC & whose career can be haunted forever by trading away a franchise QB for a 4th-rounder. So the Entire Team told us Fields was out in that moment. This was about week 8 of '22. We watch new GMs & HCs get rid of players in key positions from the old régimes Every Single Year. It just happened with Howell & Ridder. The Commanders didn't even have another QB to back up their new one & they did this. Poles & Eberflus have wanted Fields out from Day One.
