It's Evan Neal's job to put up good tape, don't feel bad because he is incapable of doing his job. If Schoen and Daboll were considering moving Neal to guard, he would be getting reps at the position in OTAs and camp. That is not what is happening. They want him to fight for his job and not have the idea of moving to guard as a safety net for him. It's sink or swim time with Neal at tackle as it should be.

Neal was mocked to go #1 to Jacksonville. That entire trade down with Chicago was & still is a dumpster fire. So many horrible ramifications that will live on for years to come.

I can't believe how Neal was considered a great player in college. He doesn't belong in the NFL. The scouts really blew it.

That last play you show Neal does what he supposed to. They are running hitches and flats. The ball supposed to come out ASAP. If you look both tackles are diving at the defenders legs on that play. Its because the ball is supposed to be out and they are trying to get both defensive ends to keep their hands down and not deflect the pass that's supposed to be flying past there heads.

He's a huge guy who has poor balance, inability to redirect and cannot remain in contact with his man. He's like a one of those huge cargo ships that takes 2 miles to turn or stop. He also may just not be a glass eater b/c he doesn't play up to his size, even in the run game, almost never physically dominates in close quarters.

Evan Neal has def been dogshit so far but you said the cut block Evan Neal did against Crosby wasn't a designed play when there's so much clear evidence it is. Isaiah Hodgins at the top of the screen is clearly blocking right off the snap in case Devito wants to throw to Saquon in the flat. And Andrew Thomas on the other side of the line is doing the exact same thing. This seems more on Devito panicking than anything. I think too many ppl don't have a working understanding of what players are asked to do and make videos like this when there are much better examples.
