Good job. You deserve more viewers. Hollywood Brown and Worthy are both about putting pressure on the safeties to open it up for Kelce and Pacheco. Plus Mahomes was really pissed about the offense last year.

Appreciate it Mark, yeah that offense last year looked rough.

We are about to be seeing a BUNCH of cover 2 shell again.

We will be seeing Kelce/Rice/Hollywood/Worthy/Pacheco all on the field at once... that will be an utterly terrifying and fast offense. People can call Kelce slow if they like, but for his size he's ridiculously fast, he will outrun LB's and power through any DB.

@@dalehammers4425 Amen, he does a great job finding the holes in the zones as well.

@@FilmStudyForRookies He's a master of it, and the way him and Mahomes practically share the same brain is almost scary.

Nice angle in the Worthy pick and his potential impact. I've seen on another channel (sorry) that Worthy guarantees the opposing team will have to play two high safeties at almost all times, opening up the underneath routes for everyone else. Scary. Mahomes may go off this year. 5k passing yards again. Yes, i called my shot. Or rather, Pat's shot.

100% what's going to be interesting to see is, whose going to benefit from worthy backing up the safeties.

Exactly. This is all the Bills' fault. Nahh, joking aside I love how our host here illustrates with play-calling. I just wish more people paid attention when it's bad. Wouldn't we want to see Josh Allen not get undermined by McDermott's late-game decision-making? We had three years of Greg Roman stifling Lamar down from MVP to Daniel Jones calibre along with Joe Lombardi then Kellen Moore doing the same to Justin Herbert. & now Roman is Herbert's OC. _Oy!_ By acknowledging the bad we also elevate the good & maybe more than just Matt Canada can get ousted out of where they don't belong because I for one am tired of inept people making that much $ despite being inept. Come on, this isn't politics!

@@choosecarefully408 : I agree and believe that better coaching would benefit the whole league, make the game even more exciting. But it's still mostly an "Old "Boys' Club". And some of the "up and comers" fail terribly, which makes teams go back to tried-and-true, if perpetually mediocre, veterans.

@@WilliamTombrink-zo5yi True. *Too* true. Most people are afraid to go against the grain ever because if you follow it & fail, you can't be singled out for it. This doesn't change in the NFL. It's _human_ nature. So yes, as you say the reaction is to mentally "circle the wagons" which is actually circular thinking, return back to a previous position. Years ago I read a collection of studies on human behavior especially in groups. There are no contexts where this is different. Just sometimes one person who goes against the grain gets into decision-making power despite this & the Chiefs have a dynasty with Mahomes because of it.

@@WilliamTombrink-zo5yi Damn, I forgot to mention something. This year Sean McVay hired an assistant because he's aware that his play-calling sometimes tanks inn the clutch. If this catches on, it may change this.

Sounds like they need a better wide receiver coach

Maybe it's the coach, maybe it's the players lol

This would be a viable argument if our WR's were successful anywhere else before or after we had them. The only one we had that we let go that had even a bit of success is Conley, and nobody is confusing him with a star.
@vladdynukes26983 ай бұрын
He must show first that he can consistently catch the passes thrown by Mahomes, whether contested and especially wide open, and not just be another one of Chiefs failed wr experiments like Skky, KT, MVS, Justyn Ross, and Hardman
@giovane82683 ай бұрын
Hardman is hardly a failure. Neither was MVS. Both not great WR, but solid production with up & downs.
@FilmStudyForRookies3 ай бұрын
Idk how many were failed per se, I look at Skyy who just doesn't fit the system. Then KT can't get out of his own way, MVS and Hard I think people set high expectations. But, in reality idk how much I really expected. Ross can't say anything yet on, he's only had 1 year in the system.
@dalehammers44253 ай бұрын
Hardman never had a chance at success... he was behind Tyreek Hill, you arent taking Hill off the field for Hardman, then when we traded Hill Hardman was playing extremely well, then he got hurt. Then he wasnt extended, we brought him back anyways and he got the game winning TD in the SB. Hardly call that a failure.
@vladdynukes26983 ай бұрын
@@dalehammers4425 Chiefs fans after Hardman's first year arguing with me that he's a better pick than DK Metcalf. Now, fast forward even their gm Veach admitted that not drafting DK is his worst draft choice. That's al you got to here to know that the expectation out of Hardman is great and he failed miserably.
@dalehammers44253 ай бұрын
@@vladdynukes2698 Well they are just idiots. Hardman was an insurance pick in case Hill couldnt play due to legal issues. Those saying that had ridiculous expectations from the beginning. Those guys are absolutely in the minority of Chiefs fans.
