Important to note the Oppenheimer quote is originally a quote from the Bhagavad Gita, hundreds of years before Oppie said it. So not entirely unrealistic that the monster quoted it before Oppie did.

Matpat was never playing a character in his videos; He was always himself & was just genuinely expressing himself in his way & he's literally as you hear him in the videos... So this is more of a raw "unfiltered" cut of him, since these are his final theories now... He doesn't wanna leave anything inside 😂

Fr I love the creepy pasta and I would rather know the person in the suit as a person who just was mutated and formed into the suit instead of having him as a memory of being a great Godzilla actor. I wonder if he was still alive if he would like people thinking of him as a monster. im commenting this as someone who has a friend whos a big Kaiju/Godzilla fan. This was mentioned in conversation casually once and he stated how much he hated this story and its premise. And the whole bit about angry fans in the beginning made me wanna ask him why he hated it He says the story overall and its message are alright, nothing compares to Godzilla SNES creepypasta but thats not the main gripe the main gripe is about the main vicitim, the man in the suit. This story was made just months after the original costume actor Haru Nakajima died. Nakajima loved his role, worked hard, enduring horrific conditions to play in that bulky suit but loved it because of what the movies meant and still mean to the world as a whole. He was a man that supported internationality, and some of his motivations to be in this film was to be apart of a story that would be spread all over the world and not just Japan and to have the guy taking his place in this documentary being a etho-nationalist, justified or not, quite literally becoming a monster taking petty revenge on people who did nothing wrong instead of actually combating the issue in a constructive way like how the real life actor did, ON TOP of the the fact this was again made recently after his death...is a slap in the face to those diehard fans. and honestly, as someone whos had only a passing interest in this to begin with, made me not like the Story at the end of the day. Now he holds no ill will towards the story maker, just how they have made the story and i gotta agree with him. Not everyone on the internet hates mindlessly, sometimes hate has a reason

His effects reach even those who never watch his vids, game devs putting more focus on deep lore, affecting how gamers in general experience games. The amount of channels he has helped build. His effects are spread out far past his channels. There will be a lot of shifts in the next few years.

Indeed. However there are some instances of this in Hollywood that does deserve criticism to some extent, but obviously not to extreme extents of death threats or doxting people. (This is especially true when the actor or original creator agrees with the fans...*cough* Luke Skywalker *cough*)

In the original movie the officials of Japan never actually admitted to the population that the US was to blame for Godzilla instead deciding to not acknowledge it in favour of keeping the peace and moving forward. Also serizawa creates the oxygen destroyer and he is horrified by his own creation deciding to detonate it in the ocean, destroying all his notes prior. And killing Godzilla. The movie was also inspired by the events of the Marshal island nuclear testings between 1946 and 1958 I believe. Which killed a few Japanese fishermen and exposed locals to a lot of radiation. So VERY FRESH in the Japanese people’s minds. Some even accused the director of being insensitive. The director was also a Buddhist and his father and grandfather were both monks. He was made to guard the comfort women camps during ww11 so he wasn’t above criticising Japan and Japanese patriotism

This reminds me of the Big Daddy from Bioshock. From what I remember, the suit essentially becomes their new outer flesh & skin as the divers meld with the suits. That game's lore is so rich!

9:26 Original audiences were so frightened by the realism of the Tokyo destruction scenes in '54, that when Godzilla approaches the Nichigeki Theater, some screamed in terror! Same effect King Kong must've had on audiences in 1933. Classic monster movies deserve so much more respect than they're given nowadays.

Oh boy. That’s pretty relatable. I’m in a fandom that’s desperately trying to keep itself from tearing itself apart. Mainly people disrespecting the creator’s boundaries with the original work or people disrespecting the boundaries of Fan-Creators who were making fan creations. Toxic fans who overstep boundaries can really ruin a fandom. Late last year we had a really popular creator leave the fandom and shut down the AU fan work she made completely, effectively killing the AU.

You can get pretty close to the Godzilla roar by scraping a guitar pick vertically on a guitar string on an acoustic guitar, they actually used a rosin glove and did the same movement with a violin to create the actual roar

This series reminds me a lot of Darkhold Iron Man. The suit fusing to his flesh. The want for a certain world. The harm of those who were allies. It is almost the same, although, the motive is different. Tony wanted to be remembered for something good and was overcome with that desire, harming those he wanted to help whereas The Man in the Suit wants to hurt others because he is blind with rage.
