Abhinandana came in 1987, but velli nila padumai-amudha gaanam (1985) song was the original sung by vani jayaram and ramesh. Also from the same movie 2. Ore raagam ore thaalam- ade neevu ade nenu 3. Thathedutha muthe vaa- chikkalanti ammayee 4. Andharangam yaavume(aayiram nilave vaa) - manchi kurise velalo 5. Eduta neeve - songs came in aalapana and other movies Though he used the songs given in tamil but the bgm, orchesterations singers are different. Also andarangam yaavume was be sung by spb in two diff. voices but he made it a duet in telugu That is our Raja talent.

It is the 52nd Melakartha rāgam (parent scale) in the 72 melakarta scale system of Carnatic music. It is called Ramāmanōhari in Muthuswami Dikshitar school of Carnatic music. Actually, the hit Telugu song "Rangulalo" from Abhinandana (film released in 1987) originally appeared as the Tamil song "Velli Nilaa Padumai" from Maestro's 1986 film, 'Amudha Gaanam" sung by Vani Jayaram and Ramesh, starring Vijayakanth and Nalini

"Kamalam Paada Kamalam" is not set to Rasika Priya. Maestro used an even rarer raga, "Rama Priya" for that song. He composed the masterpiece Sangeethame En Jeevane (1981 Kovil Pura) in raga Rasika Priya.

Moha Mull has rasikaranjani in the background score when the age old aged husband asks his wife to wear the saree and jewels that he bought for her. Sangeethame En Jeevane has grihabedam from Rasikapriya to Mayamalavagowla (same concept was used when he composed agandhaiyil aaduvadha in Uliyin Oasai).

@@connectkalyan Thanks. Talking of Rasika Ranjani and Rasika Priya, Maestro Raja was the first film music composer to use Rasika Ranjani. The iconic Amudhe Tamizhe from Kovil Pura, and later the underrecognized gem from Bhrati, "Ethilum Ingu Iruppaan Avan Yaaro"

++ no one uses the chorus singers like our legend Ilaiyaraja sir There are many unique and brilliant compositions where chorus voices were used brilliantly. The reality shows should perform those songs as separate shows. Hope here , Madam will agree the same .
