Fantastic episode and one that has a basis in reality as the Soviets really did set up little communities in the US to infiltrate society. In fact, that was the basis for the 2013 series The Americans. Anywho, this was a little different as there was a real mystery as to what was really going on. I love seeing Hunter in pissed off, dogged determination mode. Lots of great humor between Dryer and Kramer here. I laughed so hard at the hotel scenes. I also like that unlike most '80s shows there's actually some continuity. It isn't quite hard continuity but it's enough there that you get returning characters and whatnot. Oh and one other thing, the scene of Hunter and McCall asking permission to go to TX was pretty good and shows the difference between Devane and Wyler. Wyler would've shut them down so fast their heads would spin. Devane is gruff but understands what needs to be done. It's good that they made a captain character who while still is the boss, is someone who they can talk to and work with.

Those of us who have lined up opposite defensive end Fred Dryer on the football field know his little bumps hurt.

Fred Dreyer knew a lot about football. He played defensive end for the LA Rams.

How come Hunter and Mc Call can investigate a case in Texas and still arrest people if necessary. Ithought they would be out of their juristriction?

When S.W.A.T. rescued Hunter it would have been nice to have had the original cast of S.W.A.T. do it. It would have been good dialogue between Hunter, and Hondo (Steve Forrest) about why it took so long.

When Dee Dee turned up in her red Daytona in seasons 1 and 2 it was a two toned oaint job that was on the car .Now in season 3 onwards her car is a plain red Daytona.Did they change her car mid series and replace it with a diffrent one hence the solid red car instead of the two tone car?
