Regarding the off duty cop that was offed and left slumped over a rock….people just don’t decide to go for a walk and kill themselves half way through pumping gas. He likely was drawn to that location by some voice or noise so went yo investigate with his flashlight. Someone lay waiting behind the rock, gun ready and shot him in the head as he walked up. That’s why it’s a forehead shot and not your standard suicide temple or mouth shot.

That one idiot said nobody heard anything else but the gun shot, and there was ni evidence of a struggle in the field so the cop must of shot himself. If someone is going to execute a cop chances are they would be pretty quit…not gonna holler so the entire town can hear. He probably was whistling or made some quite suspicious sounds which only the line officer heard as he was the only one out there close enough to hear. Also, it would be pretty hard to get into a struggle with a bullet in your head. Use your head dude.

A lot of good cops work cold case files in the twilight of their career or work internal investigations. That sounded like a specific spot where law enforcement gas up. Someone knew he was going to there and set him up. Zero evidence left behind of foul play, sounds like it was a cop

Ive watched UM episodes over and over again. My fav show. Man the Stallings family is prob one of the saddest stories on the series. How are you gunna arrest a poor mom like that?? Nowadays theyd put you on welfare but i guess that wasnt an option back then. 😢 so sad

I think it was an accident. I think he heard or saw someone who was acting shady so we stopped pumping gas and went after them. He had his gin drawn and was holding his flashlight in the other hand. He tripped, he fell onto the rock and on his way down the gun went off killing him.

most people who commit suicide don't make it obvious that they are on the verge of suicide. It surprises friends and family, and they don't believe it. He committed suicide, end of story
