What happens to these poor people like Rolando Cruz, after spending 11 years on death row and then DNA evidence finds him not guilty of the crime? Shouldn't the state award him Financial restitution for taking his life away and scaring him with death for all of those years?

As for the native American family. I know it was hard on the children. But the welfare department was doing its best to make sure that they were provided and taken care of. Who knows what would have happened to them if the welfare department did not step in.
