About:
Ironheart (Riri Williams) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created in 2015 by writers Brian Michael Bendis, and artist Mike Deodato, and later redesigned by Eve Ewing and Kevin Libranda. Dominique Thorne is set to portray Williams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe streaming television series Ironheart, which is currently in development for Disney+.
Riri Williams is a 15-year-old engineering student and the daughter of the late Riri Williams Sr. Following her father's death, Riri lives with her mother Ronnie and her paternal aunt Sharon in Chicago. A certified super-genius, she attends the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on scholarship. Working alone, Riri designs a suit of armor similar to the Iron Man Armor using material stolen from campus. When campus security knocks at her door, she flees while wearing the suit. When Williams prevents two inmates from escaping the New Mexico State Penitentiary, her suit is damaged. Upon returning to her mother's house, Riri continues to work on improving the suit, much to the dismay of her aunt. Tony Stark hears of Riri's accomplishment and goes to meet her. During their meeting, Stark decides that he will endorse her decision to become a superheroine.

Marvel has a long history of bringing their characters back to life, but I really can't envision anyone playing the part of Tony Stark/Iron Man aside from RDJ. He is a perfect fit for the role.

Christopher Reeve , Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman have something in common. Their super hero characters can't be equaled or replaced and these 3 characters might as well be retired

Honestly iron was probably one of the coolest, I remember( I’m 34) but I was about 11 years old, and my friend had an iron man toy. That was one of the coolest looking ones. But I was a child, and I got into some comics, he was the marvel guy that I loved, my go to faves are Wolverine, cable, colossus, gambit, juggernaut,and night crawler. Wish they would really do one with nightcrawler. Man the stuff they are doing story wise, it goooood. Need a nightcrawler or gambit movie.

I’m perfectly happy with leaving Iron Man at the end of Endgame. I would rather know he died a hero in the movie and remember Iron Man that way, then I would have anybody else attempt to play him. I won’t go to a movie if it’s not Robert Downey, Jr.

Let Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark die in peace. There is NO replacing the unique flair that the actor gave to the character; but if you want force another Ironman movie, I would look inward at Tony Stark's daughter (Morgan Stark) putting on her father's suit. In any case, can you imagine any other actor playing the beloved Captain Jack Sparrow character other than Johnny Depp?... it would sink the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. RDJ pretty much invented the Ironman character - RDJ is Tony Stark.

I also seen one where they we’re thinking about having the 4th iron man movie be Morgan Stark taking over and having Tom Holland Spider-Man be her mentor I think that would be better then having anyone step in as a new Ironman plus down the road we maybe getting iron lad the kang version so I would like them to keep RDJ Ironman dead and gone they would ruin endgame if they decided to bring him back just leave it open for his daughter and then iron lad if they go that route I don’t want to see anyone play Ironman for a long long time. If they are taking suggestions I would love a 3rd Sherlock Holmes movie with RDJ

As a kid, I read Ironman, Thor, Hulk, Avengers, X-Men, etc and really liked them all. But, in the movies, no matter who was fighting against Ironman, including Thor, I found myself always pulling for him.

We've seen several actors play the part of Spiderman, so we know that if Iron Man is to continue in some fashion, that the execs may have to choose another actor to play the part. Frankly, Robert Downey Jr. is such an actor that he doesn't need to worry about being typecast. I feel he could reprise the role of Iron Man, and still do movies as he has, including Sherlock Holmes, and the like. RDJ is the best fit for Iron Man/Tony Stark. His personality lends himself to the serious side of the character, as well as the whimsical side. If ever there were a person perfect for the Iron Man role, RDJ is the one who should play that part. Having said that, Tom Cruise would make a good candidate for the role, but they better put him on platform shoes to give him a taller stance. I think Tom could play the part well, and it would be interesting to entertain the idea of him doing the role. But when it comes down to it, I would love for RDJ to keep doing the role for as long as he is able.

RDJ is the only ironman best suited for being IRONMAN, despite any critics or even what the DC network might say. EVERYONE AROUND THE WORLD KNOWS RDJ is and always will be the best leading role of all the Iron man movies ever created, I personally can say that through all the years of waiting for a new Iron man to show in cinema i have never thought that ROBERT would quit being the main character, but as for what it's worth let him decide if he want's to end it all or not. Nomatter what movie he plays in next I can't wait to see his brain in action like the stuff he himself has created to thus far.

I just realized Stark wanted to retire as Ironman to be with his family before deciding to help take on Thanos. WHAT IF, Stark simply faked his own death to live without being pressured to continually being Ironman and all the pressure that comes along with it… 🤔

Robert Downey Jr's iron man, cannot be beaten nor replaced by anyone in our generation I'm afraid. It would be an insult if they even tried to find an actor to do the part. The only way IN MY unprofessional opinion, and of course I am not speaking for anyone but myself, is if they had RD Jr pass his suit on to his kid, or someone smart enough and with a big enough heart, his daughter finding a way into her dad's recorded memory bringing them alive together as Jervis is to tony in the first half of iron mans movies!

I vaguely remember hearing before the making of the 1st IM movie that Tom Cruise had the part but moved off due to delays etc. RDJ wasnt perfect for the role as alot of ppl bang on about - he MADE the role his own was very good in it (and I really enjoyed him in it), much like Hugh Jackman who really wasnt like comic Wolverine. I think TC would be good in the role too and be closer to comic TS but as to whether that converts into being lauded like RDJ thats a different issue.

I don't think anybody should replace iron man let's just honor him. RDJ played his role well even as he has decided to go on with other projects, we should just respect him. If there should be any update at all it should be that his daughter should become the next iron man or woman. Maybe called "woman of steel" I really cried when iron man died tho
