I love that for the sake of the video MatPat just called the villian “the boss” only for that title to basically influence the entirety of season 2 as we know it. You truly have an influence over all of us MatPat.

At the time the ARG started, I was following Jonny RaZer. I was interested in it at first, but quickly realized it would be more trouble than it was worth, unfollowed Jonny, and ignored the suspicious aspects of Joe Caine’s content (his stuff is far too good to give up). I realize now that I should have stayed on track. When season 2 comes around, I’ll be watching EVERYTHING.

I like how Shorts War isn't NEARLY as complicated or hard to decipher as many of the args MatPat has covered, but still manages to offer a compelling narrative and intrigues us the whole time. It's like a starter arg for people who aren't good with args!

@@thatonepixelatedfoxIt had to do with his mercy back somewhere around 2020-2021. It had code deciphering, necessary teamwork that took too long to do, and best of all, a video games that rewarded you with things to progress in the arg. But, the game became EXTREMELY difficult at the end.😅

For me its the opposite, I saw that was a thing cause I watch the speedrunning YT shorts series and I happened to understand about the ARG existing from different comments except….. whenever I watch shorts isn’t necessarily the moments when I’m at the peak of my mental conditions so I just kinda glossed over it 😭 very glad it’s getting covered

One thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes in Johnny’s videos before the shorts wars, one of his other friends would come in his iconic flannel and sunglasses and they’d record a video on April fools I think that might have something to do with it
