Thanos definitely isn't worthy and Matpat said it himself: he sacrifices himself and “Those He Cares For Most” He's sacrificing what isn't his to give up and he starts by taking it by force so he can do it anyway

Thanos made the big sacrifices, he threw SOMEONE ELSE off a cliff in order to get what HE wants. His selfishness of killing half the universe EXCLUDING HIM, making the choice that EVERYONE disagreed with. He said himself that he would gladly destroy the universe in order for him to get what he wants, not really seems like he should be worthy of anything except for that dust.

I'd like to think Thanos _was_ worthy to weild Mjolnir... for a while at least. That is, until it became personal. The first time, he was indifferent, but in Endgame when he comes back through the use of time travel he says how much he's going to enjoy killing them because now he's actually mad. I do believe they also have him specifically avoid trying to grab Mjolnir in the animation of the fight scenes... but maybe I'm just remembering wrong (I'd also like to note that Stormbreaker doesn't have the same enchantment that Mjolnir has, though it must have something slightly similar, given the scene where cap catches it).

I think Hawkeye would be worthy as of the Hawkeye series. He sacrificed his own happiness to help Kate out of the Ronin situation.

Hulk is the only one who could lift the hammer, not out of being worthy, but out of strength alone. He has done it in the comics. It was stated that to those unworthy, Mjolnir is the weight of a mountain. Someone also calculated it's weight to those unworthy being about 1/8th the weight of the moon. A majority of characters we see try to lift it obviously couldn't lift a building. But Hulk has lifted 150,000,000,000 tons and shattered a meteor twice the size of Earth. It's doubtful that the MCU Hulk could lift it considering how much weaker the filmmakers made him than his comic book self. Heck, in the movies, he was challenged by Abomination, lost to the Hulkbuster, lost to Thanos without all 6 stones, and was actually hurt by using The Infinity Stones. Talk about a loose adaptation.

I think Star Lord is worthy because he gave his extraterrestrial powers from his dad to save his friends/universe and he also is just plain human,no powers like Captain America or extreme intellectual prowess like Tony,he also almost died to keep one of the stones safe in one of his movies. I realised something, while our man was talking about Captain Marvel. The shown scene, where Marvel said “Because before you didn’t had me!”. She said that, not entirely of confidence, but because she is the only member of the Avengers that can consume energy based power like the power stone. While holding back Thanos near the end of Endgame’s war, she was actually constantly consuming energy from the Power stone. It was not long before Purple Titan takes the stone and blast her away, but that to me is a confirm strategically-confident self-sacrifice. Because she didn’t help them on Earth, the Avengers lost!

I think Dr.Strange would be worthy. He sacrificed his life with Dr. Palmer and looked for The Ancient One to be healed and stayed then was willing to stay in a time loop to stop Dormammu and was willing to die over and over again for the sake of the world. Then became the Sorcerer Supreme and wasn’t aloud to be with his love. He saw her get married while he stayed alone. Strange was willing to risk his life for America Chavez so Wanda didn’t get her powers. Also he used the Dark Hold to defeat The Scarlet Witch and got the curse of the Dark Hold. Yes he did give Thanos the time Stone but he saw in one of the endless universes that Tony would die and defeat Thanos. I completely disagree on Thanos case: 1. As you already state in your clip: "WORTHY" is "WILLING to sacrifice your life for greater good". That should solely understand as "you and your only life" not "your life and your love ones". Because if following "your life and your love ones" logic, some of our history genocide general should also considered as "worthy" (i will name no one to spare internet another storm) 2. Each and every conflict, which then escalate to war, always honor one or many idea, which is, if dig deep enough, always coming from what-so-called "the greater good". But some are justified while other not. Whichever is being justified then get named "WORTHY" while others don't. And over history, the ruling is the same: "which idea get most voted and supported win the justified" (which also explain why when look back, some history hero figures become villains or vice versa) Thanos's idea is his own idea. No matter right or wrong, it's solely his own idea, which no one else support (not in the scale of nations or planets but the whole galaxy as I believe Odin does guarding 9 realms), which make his idea will never be justified, thus deem "NOT WORTHY"
