Filofax A5 Original Review

Hi! This is Max Holborn again providing a review on the Filofax A5 Brown Original!
I was trying to be a bit fancier with this video but it failed horribly. I was trying to add music to this particular review, specifically the end, but it didn't work. I kept the video intact.

really love your videos. i am totally thankful for an actually interesting non-glitter fluffy puff filofax video review. i have a filofax holborn compact in grey with a mad max theme. i wish there where actually more people with some interesting filofax themes on youtube, or maybe i just did not find them yet. so thank you so much.

kuraikoitoe Rocking it out with the mad max theme is a great idea! I am in the process of acquiring my grey a5 holborn. It's been a long hunt but I was able to find one for a reasonable price. I am trying to figure out what theme I want to d with that one. Thanks for checking out my vids!

max holborn oh yes the a5 holborn. had the chance to get one for 50 bugs but at that time i did not have the money. maybe one day but right now i actually don´t really need it anymore. keep going with your videos. i really love them.

Great! I'm glad you liked the video. I made some subtle changes to my system, which I believe I am satisfied with so I may end up doing an update video for my Original. Please use the Star Wars Ranking Scheme! Just a little something for geeky goodness!

Dig the dance moves at the end. I've been looking at crossfit (I run and do hardstyle kettlebell and GS style kettlebell training). I use my filofax to track my training so your set up is very informative. Thanks!

Thanks for checking out the video and I am glad you found it informative! The filofax certainly is a powerful tracking tool. Just recently I found a correlation between my weight and "aches and pains". For the longest time, I have been hovering between 179 and 183lb's, but if I stay around 185/187 I discovered that my knees don't hurt as much and that the extra mass seems to be helping with durability when I program with heavier loads. I still do a lot of volume but that means I have to consume more "good" calories and what better item to keep track of all this stuff than a filofax :)

I know it is an old video, but where did you buy your diary inserts for Original? This is exactly what I need, and I can't find them anywhere.

Question: I understand the new Filofax A5's are glossy leather. Is yours a glossy leather or the more robust, dull leather?

I got an original a5 very recently and it is not glossy. I think maybe some people are adding some kind of glossy overwrap

Thanks for watching the vid! The walking dead series is my all time favorite. I only collect the hardbacks but I just recently picked up the anniversary edition of issue #1 at Dragoncon! I am totally hauling all of those books if I can get Kirkman to sign em at some other convention!
