Wonderful garden.

We were embarrassed and disrespected by one of the staff members working on Sunday, May 1st. We come every year Filoli Gardens because it's beautiful. I came with my family, family friends and my fiance on May 1st, 7 of us, all paid the entry fee, and we wanted to take some pictures, like everyone else was doing. A rude and disrespectful employee comes up to us because he thought we were a professional photo-shoot, which we weren't, we just had a nice camera and my fiance had a more comfortable change of clothing for later, and I brought a '&' sign for us to hold because I thought it would be cute. He said we can't have a change of clothing on the property or any props. We didn't want to break any rules, so we put everything back in our car and didn't use the '&' sign. After lunch at the Filoli Cafe, my fiance changed into a more comfortable dress, and wanted to walk around some more, this same employee saw that as another sign of us doing something wrong and asked us to leave the premises. This was absolutely ridiculous! A ton of people were posing, holding what I would call props, and taking pictures just like us with professional cameras, and no one got harassed like we did. Unfortunately we will never come back to these gardens and that saddens me greatly. I also hope you fire employees that harass your guests.
