he has so much potential. don't get me wrong, this was a poor performance. but it was his first. I was bad my first time on stage too. once he gets used to it he'll phenomenal, keep in mind this is the same guy who faked seizures in public in Japan and dry humped the floor in Time Square in front of hundreds of people

Idk why everyone is complaining that this was "bad" because 1) I'm assuming this was his first live performance 2) he is not a professional musician, he's a KZfaqr, who yes is a very good musician but as far as I know that's not his actual job. 3) based on the flask in his hand at the end he's probably drunk 4) he's not "lip syncing" basically every rapper raps along to a track and 5) It was a free show. He even said on twitter it was just for fun.

bob james I agree with you, but it does get really annoying sometimes. Pink Guy is just a meme so it doesn't matter, but if I go to see Eminem, it would be really cool if his actual live performances weren't so reliant on backing tracks. It's just more proof that *metal* shows are the best concerts you can go to. The bands play their songs with precision and skill AND the audience participation is better than most other genres, as the metal community invented moshing

Everybody is saying the concert was shit and of poor quality but it was basically the same as a legit rap concert. You go there to see an "artist" you like and sing with them to their songs. I've been to concerts for different rap artist and this is basically what it is, they play there full songs with way to much base and they just yell over it while the crowd sings along.

Mics are hard to hear and get drowned out so its better for the audience 2.) Singers dont always remember every one of their songs so they need some help 3.) You are running around on a stage and hyping people up, it gets exhausting and its hard to sing or rap when you are out of breath

It has nothing to do with that, they're playing the original song with vocals while giving him a crappy, quiet mic to rap with. You can hear it in the video, he's hardly audible beneath the song and is essentially screaming in a fruitless attempt at having his voice be heard.

It's not some random DJ that's Joji's friend josh pan who is also a musician. It was planned, Joji kept talking to Josh so if he had a problem he would have told him. A lot of rappers do this because it's hard to rap live with just background music. Plus it's his first performance.
