This is the only video that worked for me and I'm pretty sure I was still an MP Plus short on Aerith. For those struggling I'll lay out a few tips that helped me and should definitely help you as well. Use Aerith as 1 and Cloud as 2. Casting ATB Ward from the jump and then right to Cloud for the spell cast seemed to work out better for me. Reason being is if you spam the X button as the fight begins you can instantly stop time to switch between characters a little easier. Also make sure you're locked onto specific targets. Some notes for each fight - (I think it goes without saying every single fight will start with some sort of ATB Ward, spell casting with Cloud, and then back to Aerith with ATB boost and then Tifa to build up pressure/stagger) 1) spam aeroga and target barnaclaw with Tifa strong punches, clean up the golem with omnistrike whirlwind. 2) cast blizzaga on Burt, quaga on Kid G, finish up Burt with omnistrike and target kid G. Wait for his attack, basically just keep dodging with Tifa. When he misses immediately strike to increase pressure. Use Unfettered Fury as the Rage and Fall increase the pressure much faster than Rise and Fall (from unbridled strength). Hold the square button and you'll learn how to uppercut and then immediately quick hit to cancel the animation and keep spamming it. Basically once the pressure wears off on kid G back up and dodge another attack until you stagger him. Then use Infinity End with Cloud and unbridled strength to increase the damage % with Tifa. 3) cast blizzaga on the sea devil, swap to aerith cast blizzaga on the dragon. Tifa can use unbridled and rise and fall kill the sea devil. Everyone should have 1 or 2 ATB bars now. I like to hover around the dragon after the roar because he's setting up for a jump attack. After the attack lands I'll use whatever the highest level of magic I can from everyone then pressure with Tifa. If you see pressure on the dragon you can actually save your MP and just use focused strike and focused thrust from Cloud. If you don't think he'll die before the stagger ends you can cast Blizzara or Blizzaga with Aerith. 4) probably the easiest fight of all. make sure you cast aeroga on the golem first, and then on the flying zu second. The reason for this is aeroga draws the enemies together and will make staggering and rising the stagger damage with Tifa much easier but from what I remember double aeroga instant kills them both. 5) cast sleep on the eye. blizzaga on the gorgon. One thing I found helpful the video didn't do, use Cloud instead of Tifa and build up 2 ATB. Cast blizzaga again. After that, use Tifa and rise and fall him over and over until Cloud and Aerith get 1 ATB. Keep going back to the ward and cast Blizzara until he's pressured. You basically need to have him almost dead before the eye wakes up, so knowing you get MP back on the next fight it's worth blowing to get rid of him. If you're fast enough you can properly use your ATB bars where Cloud opens up against the eye with Thundaga and while casting Aerith can build up her own ATB and cast Thundaga as well. Then pressure with Tifa and hopefully stagger and finish. 6) this one you have to be super fast with but keep in mind as soon as you cast any level 3 magic you can't be hit. All you need to do is get the Aeroga off with Cloud and then you'll be fine. I basically look at this fight as the breather to build up my HP/MP again from not healing the previous round. So cast Aeroga twice and finish off with Tifa rise and fall. They should be close enough together while being staggered from Aeroga that Tifa can kill them both at the same time. 7) immediately sleep the bomb and then cast Blizzaga with Aerith on the scorpion. use Cloud not Tifa and build up 2 ATB and cast blizzaga again. Use Tifa rise and fall to clean up the scorpion. Before fighting the bomb I like to use Soothing Breeze (i think that's what it's called from the enemy skill) and try to heal everyone before going at the bomb. Every HP point counts towards the next few fights since you only get 30% back after each. When you're ready or right before the bomb wakes up I'll cast Blizzaga with Cloud, blizzaga with Tifa, and then use Aerith to tempest and spam attack to get her last ATB and cast Blizzaga again unless Cloud and Aerith already have 2 ATB, then you can wait off on the side with Tifa until the blizzaga's end to raise the stagger damage. The bomb has some AOE attack that hits you even during blizzaga if Tifa gets too close she'll take some damage. I'd rather just wait until he's actually staggered. 8) sleep the reaper and then ATB boost with Aerith. However I'll use Tifa and hit the worm a few times and then immediately switch to Cloud. Whether you get eaten or not doesn't matter in fact For some odd reason I found it easier to get eaten on purpose and then just hold my ATB to attack the stomach. Use Thundaga with Aerith and Blizzara with Tifa as soon as you see the red icon appear. Once Cloud comes out and if the worm is pressured you can focus strike and focus thrust and then rise and fall with Aerith. I don't think it needs to be said but the worm has to die before the reaper wakes up. You may actually kill it fast enough you can time the reaper fight where you don't need to avoid any of his attacks to pressure him. I was able to just constantly blizzaga/blizzara spam him with whoever had ATB to kill him. 9) One of the more annoying fights because it wasn't really spelled out in the video and took me a while to understand the cactuar mechanics. Basically cast aeroga with Cloud and wait until you see both cactuar drawn in from aeroga. Usually right around when Cloud is about to put off his 2nd aeroga before I cast the first one with Aerith. The point of this is two fold, one - it draws the enemies closer together to the ward, and two - I use Cloud here to hit both enemies to build up 1 ATB faster, then immediately cast level 2 wind. It should pressure them and Tifa can clean them both up with unbridled. The key for the fight is timing the wind attacks to keep them close together. If for some reason they separate just focus down one of them with Tifa and keep an eye out for the needle attacks. Just keep dodging to one side of the map until the attack is over. You can't afford to get hit or it's insta kill. 10) Sleep the zu, blizzaga the right arm with Aerith. Make sure to target the right arm specifically with Tifa and then rise and fall the boss. Once he starts to cast his shadow whatever attack cast Stop with Cloud in the ward. I don't think it matters if he's in the ward or not but I do it anyway. Then burn him down with Tifa rise and fall again and whatever Cloud ATB has. He has to die though just as or right before the Zu wakes up. Hopefully you have more than enough time though and you'll start licking your lips like I did knowing victory for this stupid fucking boss challenge is over. Divine Focus synergy attack when you're ready and then wait for the bubble to go away. As soon as it does cast stop with Cloud and blizzaga this fucking nerd NPC and clean it up with Tifa until he's dead. Hopefully this helped some of you who struggled for two nights like I did.

This method took me a little shy of 2 1/2 hours to beat this fight. The strategy I found for Hellion's Intonement took about 3 1/2.

Idk how im gonna complete this but i have 3 magnify now so i feel i have a chance. Hellions was hell. I quit the game then switched yuffie to cloud for quaga and then got to round 10 without issue and realized it is possible to beat that. I'm not as mentally committed to this one so we shouldn't destroyed my self-esteem if I don't win and now I'm actually willing to try out more combos but I still feel like it was unnecessarily difficult on the last challenge but at least this one seems to have some kind of way to win with elements

Made it to the cactuars just to have them one shot my entire team. This isn't about git gud, this is about bullshit game design that throws away everything you've been doing the entire game and asks you to find a way to cheese these ridiculous challenges.
