To obtain the GF you need the Ragnarok airship and fly it to Cactuar Island in Southern Esthar, Jumbo Cactuar can be seen moving about the island, to fight it simply catch it and the battle begins. It has about 300,000HP. Thanks for watching.

In FFVIII there is a spell called Aura which lets you get to cast your limit break despite not being low on health. Which is why you can see that he keeps using an item called Aura Stone which is essentially a consumable item that casts Aura.

For this battle I just brang quistis into the party and used her aqua attack which does gd damage aslo limit breaks and water magic beat him quite quickly but he did defeat me once

Ok.. I killed this thing yesterday and i thought it was so hard.. But its not... U just junction squall until his str will go 255...dont mind others... I was level 65 i think ... Ive use renzokuken 2 times.. One blasting zone and one nothing... He had attack me once.. He stomp Zell and damages 1203 Weapon-lionheart, Ehrgeiz,Shooting star I was so happy cuz i beat it in like 2 minutes ..:)

Btw my party doesnt have 9999 hp so those people out there who thinks they need to have that high hp to beat this Cactus.... Its possible to defeat it and much easier to if u follow me

God I remember buying VIII but not playing it so much. Howe are you doing ur limit break over and over. Someone explain thanks.

That's what the Aura Stones are for. The Aura status effect triggers Limit Break status, though you may have to cycle through available characters like the video does for the Limit Break option to appear. I personally use the spell, but the stone is just as effective.

Aura effect. It greatly increases probability of getting limit break.

depends on its level, if it's at lv1 around 6000. At lv100 600 000.
