I actually did this battle with just Laguna and won, was hilarious.

I always just cast blind on him and ice him with limits. No point in wasting any other magic :D. You can draw blind from the communication tower. Also, weirdly enough, draw-casting demi on him caused him to sometimes heal your characters, at least on the psx version.

So awesome, especially the music.

great combination of limits and healing timinng, I always try to use Gravity against himself though, it helps a lot

I tried battling GF Diablos with Laguna, Kiros and Ward. Its not as hard as you'd think.

See? We need more fantasy characters like Laguna in a protagonist role. Not some dude with a sword, not some chick who gets all the cool guns, not the ones with the oversized machineguns, just a dude with a practical looking assault rifle. . . but I guess pretty boys with the swords are the only types of heroes that fans prefer. . .

laguna's music surpasses squall's and squall's music is kind of boring lifeless laguna's music is full of life and spirit and such

Anyone ever notice how, unless the battle was playing out, it was going slow and stuttery? Like WTF kinda potato from 2013..ish.. was this emulator ran on?

gotta admit Ward is the best dragoon in my opinion ha plus Laguna and Irvine are like also really cool and badass with their guns. lolz eat your hearts out Vincent, Barret, and Cid. ha tifa too zell's limits are better I highly doubt she would win against his duel attack.

Beating Diablo is easy, if your low lv then Diablo doesn't do any attack besides drop health to 1/4 if your current health, so it stays at 1 and you can't die. If you fought him at high level he has an attack that charge towards a single target, so you gotta burst him with as much limit break. Zell, squall, or Irvine has a much more op limit break. Later on rinoa and quistis has op limit breaks also.
