I remember the first time I heard this, I was in my room. It was close to midnight and I had the lights off...pitch dark. The only light in the house was coming from my little 32inch Tube TV. I'll never forget the feeling I got listening to this for the first time. Nothing but goosebumps and chills went down my spine. Some years later I got to experience it again in HD, and I knew I had to recreate that same feeling. This time on a Flat Screen with surround sound, yet again surrounded by darkness. I'll never forget the time I spent in Spira, and what I felt through this piece. All those memories and more filled the room, like I was experiencing them again for the first time. Time passes too quickly, and everything we know at some point will become a distant memory. Passing us by like waves of light. But it's nice once and a while to be able to relive them like this, through this tune. It will always be a masterpiece. Something that time can never fade.

I remember first playing this game in 2003. My son was three at the time. When i turned it on and heard this song...I immediately felt tears in my eyes as I marveled at how incredible beautiful the song is and would look back at my sleeping son. To this day, makes me have a lump in my throat.

Brings backs so many memories of me running home after school just to play this game. My sister bought this game for me before she went off to college and I would sit and play it for hours. Still my favorite game in the series.

A time when I could just sit in front of my TV playing Final Fantasy for hours on end getting lost and caught up in the story and forgetting all about the real world. I would do anything just to go back even for a day...

When I think of PS2, when I hear the PS2 startup sound I always think back to this, EVERY time I started up FFX-2 I listened to this intro in awe. My best memories are about 2007 in the afternoons after school, coming back home with a bottle of coke and a bag of snacks and listening to this while munching and getting ready before moving on in the story. I was happy back then, and I did not know it.

I never forget I used to ask my mother to hire this game only to listen to the Eternity for maybe half an hour before pressing start. Sometimes I would just let it play in the background. When I first unboxed my PS2 I was so happy I got FFX because I wouldn't have discovered my passion for piano, despite not playing much since University. Literally has to be one of the most soothing piano tracks along with To Zanarkand

I remember when coming out of school, my cousin surprised me, gave me this game, I jumped for joy, after playing and finishing FFX countless times, I couldn't wait to try this! FFX is second in my top 10 favorite video games, every time I cry like a baby when I start the X or X-2, I remember when my cousin xi and I played together as kids, good times, with a 32 inch sony trinitron and now in HD on PC! I spent a lot of time on Spira, a game that takes me inside, a game that makes me dream. Today I'm playing it again for the umpteenth time, with the same enthusiasm as the first time and with my cousin, we are only older but age is just a number

Oh man how times have past...from collecting magazines to its release date. Spending so many hours as a kid on this game then getting a copy of last mission for Christmas in 2005.. I still have my piggyback strategy guide from my birthday before the game was even out ...good memories X2 was.

I remember i was around 7 when this came out and i legit remember turning on the game menu just to hear this song and falling asleep to it

This was my very first ff game that I played. When I first played this game at around 9 years old I thought the intro was a real event that actually happened in real life. I was drawn instantly into wondering who these characters are and who was this sad but beautiful vibe that I was getting from yuna throughout the story and also just being in harmony with the music. Playing this before FFX had me wondering for years of who Yuna is and trying to figure out who she was looking for. once I got done beating LeBlanc and her gang the scene took me to yuna dancing so happily once she got her dressphere back. I didn't know what to think but it made me feel happy. After that, they got on the pilot and she introduced everyone and there background. Then it finally got to the point of why and how she became a sphere hunter. These moments really took my breath away and the experience was amazing. Then once she visited besaid Island I wanted to cry because of the theme and find out who these ppl are that some how knew her. (Lulu , wakka and basically the whole island. This is still when i was 9 years old and haven't yet played ffx until the remastered HD version of X & X2 came to ps3.) After this I played this game constantly to find these spheres to help her find the person she has been longing to see again (Tidus). Throughout the game it was amazing to experience because she had so much history and the ppl that she ran back into was a lot. I never finished x2 but was close. After the remastered hd was released (7 years later), I finally was able to experience another great journey and find out more of yuna history before she became a sphere hunter and learn about the rest of the gang of ffx. That game was out of this world! I was now over astonished about wat happened and the events that took place in FFX. The game is a 10 out of 10. So is FFX2. Its just so much yuna went through and to see it all starting with X2 to X was mind blowing for me. After playing X I started to like it more than. x2...but then I started to mess the trio. But both of them are now equal in my eyes. Ppl want there to be an x3, but really theres no need. If u play x2 u would know why.
