A new video after a long time, mostly because I have been very busy with school and was away on holidays abroad. But expect more videos in the future, I got quite a few on my want-to-play-list =)
So here is Wind Crest ~ The Three Trails ~, again from FF X-2. I chose this song because I have already learnt it, so I was able to record it within a shorter timespan.
This song is something special. It has a dreamy, catching melody, truly telling its own story when you listen to it. And just when you think it really starts off, it ends the same way it began.
I - especially my hands - got a bit shaky near the end because I became a bit too caught up with my playing =) You might notice that. Moreover, KZfaq made the audio/video a bit unsync =(

I remember too well, when I first heard this song, I thought: "Wow, this song is just like telling a story". I was fascinated. In fact, every song tells its own story, especially those from Final Fantasy.

Arkton, you truely inspired me. I started to play Piano again a few months ago and learned To Zanarkand, but I'm not half as good as you. Now my next task is to learn Wind Crest, propably my favouritve FF Piano Song. You motivate me to increase my skills to a level near yours, thank you :) .

Beautiful... The flow was there, the timing was not too rushed, the triplets were nailed beautifully (I could never do that no matter how much I practised)... Doesn't help that this is my favourite song of the whole entire series! Great job! :)

Your skill is amazing. Your playing is on par with the soundtrack. I seriously didn't believe that you were playing... so much so that I compared your song to the original. The only thing I noticed was the D instead of the D-flat around 1:59 (end of measure 67) or so. You can't even tell unless you sit there and analyze it. I was definitely amazed. Scores and scores beyond what I am able to play! Keep it up!

Nicely played, beautiful song. I've wished Piano music books come with an optional recorded CD of each song. Posting these songs on youtube helped me get around that. Thanks so much guys ^^ Please keep posting more masterpiece songs from games and anime :P

in fact is not flawless but still awesome. I learnt a lot watching your video, especially how you left the right hand play all the G flat in the beginning which make things much easier and less staccato. One last thing, i really envy your big hand.
