FF14 loves to call back to classics, like the dragoon in this trailer armor looking a lot like Kain from FF4, plus the Crystal Tower raid series using so much FF3 music, the FF6 magitek armor, and a whole FF Tactics crossover raid written by the same dude. It's such a nostalgia trip of a game that still stands on its own two feet.

As a current ffxiv player, Heavensward is the second best leg of the mmo's story after Shadowbringers. If you like dragons, epic narratives, fantastical twists, and sky travel, it's the expansion for you.~ Also after all these years, it's still hilarious how spoiler-ridden the trailer is.

I still find it hilarious that they gave the artists for the trailer the WRONG dragon assets... Look into it, they actually mixed up the dragons internally by mistake and the result is the wrong dragon being in the trailer! xD

This damn trailer spoiled the Ul'dah intrigue for me a couple of weeks ago when I decided to watch it from my main menu since i have Shadowbringers already. I hadn't even really started to do the ARR post patch quests yet and they dropped this bomb on me. I was like "DAMNIT, SE, WHY?!." LOL Trailer was awesome though.
