@@AurumSyC The (possibly customizable) MC of FFXVI (canon name: Clive Rosfield) doesn't look like a waifu. I mean, they only revealed their male design, but even then, they look pretty ordinary for an FF protagonist, so I don't think a default female Rosfield will look waifish.

I think Final Fantasy is pretty cool as a science fantasy. There’s magic and stuff but to base it in a world with science makes things more interesting

@@japanesegamergirl1 In my opinion absolutely not. The only "futuristic" city is Zanarkand in the tutorial, the present Zanarkand is just a land of ruins. FFX is inspired a lot by (south east) Asia culture, it feels really fresh and pretty unique for me!

You guys should try ff7 PC and crank up the in game settings and then turn on all of the nvidia or AMD post processing and especially antialiasing at 4 6 or 8k. It will blow your mind that it could look that good. Too bad you can't easily edit the textures like skyrim
