Damn. Their voice is sooo clear. I remember watching Claire years ago and my gosh. She was sooo good. And Jonathan really showed so much passion in this character.

I’ve seen a lot of actors take this prestigious role over the years. I can’t say this one is pulling me in. I think he was only around 25 years old when he played this, exceptionally young. He does have a strong voice but he’s coming across as a somewhat seasoned baritone singing a part for a tenor. He’s just been confirmed for the 2019 world tour. At 31, he’s still a young Phantom. I hope he’s matured in those six years, has studied the role more and seen the likes of Ben Lewis and Tim Howar in London and especially Ben Crawford on Broadway for ideas. The jury’s out on him and I’ll look forward to see how he gets on when he opens in Manila, next year.
