This is far bigger. This changed the CRICKET history ever. If SA won. They would have never had the choker tag, they would not have that extra pressure that they always have they could have had won more, had they won this. Aussies might have never dominated the world cricket and never would have won 3 in a row. But who knows? This moment is the biggest WHAT IF in cricket history.

He didn't because he almost got run out the previous ball. In a vacuum I think he would have been ready to go for that run, but he was extra cautious because he almost cost them the game the previous ball. And I think Klusener was also nervous after that too and rushed for the run without thinking.

@@mayankkumawat8802 no i wont agree,firstly there was lot of dissatisfaction for me as cricket lover for all those extra runs ben stokes got as gift by sheer and strange luck in last few overs.it was more luck than talent that got england d trophy. i wud put 1999 wc semis ahead of it by few yards because aussies espclly with their never give up attitude literally never gaveup even after klusner hitting 2 conscecutive boundaries and reducing target from 9 to 1 in just 2 balls. bevan ,damien and gilly were amazing to bring that runout

@@sagaronline265 1999 WC semi final wouldn't have been tied TWICE even given the chance or super over concept was present. Ben stokes was not given extra runs... thats the rule and that was nobody's mistake. Can't take away Ben stokes brilliant innings just for that 1 incident elemt of luck was in 1999WC semi final too as Donald didn't hear the call and failed to run

@@mayankkumawat8802 donalds not hearing wasnt matter of luck but keeping calm and cool paying attention to fellow batter.and ofcourse u cant take away from aussie super attentive fielding which almost got donald out previous ball.it was this fielding presence of mind by aussies which put pressure on SA and they chhoke as usual under pressure in next ball.they had 3 more deliveries to get that 1 run but they just got nervous because of near runout. i dont say it was anyones mistake but fielder throwing at keepers end and bens bat getting in between and ball goes for four.thats free 4 runs at such crucial moment which england got only by luck otherwise stokes might have been run out and result cud be completely different. another luck stokes got when nz fielder took his catch on boundary and by sheer madness touch boundary rope which again is huge luck for england ,again ben wud be out and england wud be minus 6 runs. england just won by luck than talent.ofcourse they won super over by talent but they got to super over by luck,otherwise with ben stokes wicket match wud be over way early.

In 1999 there was no concept of super over. As runrate of Australia was better than SA they qualified for Final.
