E! Entertainment UK was getting repetitive by repeating way too much 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', and after poor viewing figures, Sky had made a tough decision to drop 'E! Entertainment UK' but eventually close it at the start of 2024, a great way to begin the new year with the first satellite and cable channel closure. With content moving over to 'hayu' it was a smart move.

E! UK message said "Sorry, we've closed" they have a old logo from 1990 to 2012 As of 3 January 2024, E! UK was removed from Sky Channel 159

I’m kinda weirded out by the fact that decided to shut down the channel in the first day of 2024, ever. Like, seriously, that’s the second time a channel shut down in the New Year, the first one was Chiller, and that channel closed 7 years ago!
