I'm surprised about the omission by most panelists of Torrence as well. Did we all forget about how we complained about interior O-line play for years? I was thrilled we picked Torrence because I thought he could be a big help boosting the guard play, and boy did he. That the O-line is a strength should not be taken for granted.

A few of years ago I made it a point of telling everyone I knew about how good Matt Milano is. After people got sick of me telling them about him, I made it my goal to piss people off by not shutting up about taron johnson. Johnson is an underrated baller, it time he gets his due

Both of those players have won All Pro honors… the highest honor that can be given to a player outside of a Gold Jacket. It’s no secret how good they are… everyone already knew.

Buffalo is a small market. I don't know anyone who really knows him outside of buffalo fans. Even Marino forgot about him as on his top 10 list. It's only been a few years (big picture) that the bills get lots of prime time games. Tre white was snubbed his first several seasons too

These guys weren’t mentioned by any of the panel members but may surprise. Dawuane Smoot DE may be our sack leader. Hopefully Von plays to his old standard. AJ Epenesa may have a breakout year. Kaiir Elam may suddenly fulfill his potential. He was very young when drafted and it’s a different style of CB play than what they did in college. At some point the lightbulb will go on. It took Rasul Douglass time to figure it out. Rasul could be a pro bowler this year. James Cooke was probably mentioned by a panel member but just in case, he and Ty Johnson may have great years. The OL should run block even better as Edwards offers more size and another year of experience for the younger guys. Ray Davis could be a feature back if on another team. Daquan could be an all pro. He played to that level when healthy last year. Curtis Samuel, Chase Claypool and MVS may have breakout years. They’re loaded with talent. Curtis and Chase never had a QB like Josh. Dorian Williams was really good in college. He’s a very good athlete with length. If he has the same breakout season that Terrell Bernard had in his 2nd season, I wouldn’t be surprised. We might have a few rookie contributors this year. Besides the top three picks, Ray Davis, Javon Solomon, SVPG and Eddie Ulofoshio could have good years. My long shot prediction for someone to get on the field on game days but possibly not the 53? Travis Clayton as our British OL choice to be this year’s blocking TE. He’s a great athlete that can pull. He’s got great size and length. He can run fast (so also contribute on ST).

You had a great list. I completely agree with your reasoning for leaving Matt Milano because I did the same. You parameters were ascending players who, if they continued to play like they have been, would be critical to the Bills in the future. With Milano on the wrong side of 30, there was no way he fit that description (no offense to Milano). For those the same reasons, I left Coleman and Bishop off my list because they are rookies and don’t even have a baseline for playing in the NFL. How many hyped up players over the years ended up being complete busts? It happens more often than not, so even though I suspect they will do well, they are completely unproven, so my list included Shakir and Taron Johnson. This was a really thought provoking exercise!

I would really like you to do an episode on the bills wide receiver room as far as where and when they were drafted what their 40 speed is and how that compares to their play speed. What iaee their biggest and best traits are and what they struggle with which receivers are repetitive in their skill sets and just line them all up since the room is expansive right now. For instance how would you have ranked Chase Claypool or Hamlin in this year‘s draft? They were both second round picks, but where would you have ranked them in this draft?

1. Josh Allen 2. Terrell Bernard (his feet took him to the ball significantly better then maines ever did) 3. Dalton Kincaid 4. Ed Oliver (Dead Eds coming this post season) 5. Dion Dawkins 6. Christian Benford (covering the WR1 is a little more important then nickel to me) 7. Tarron Johnson 8. Khalil Shakier 9. Connor McGovern (every play starts with him. 10. Greg Rousseau (3rd year bump coming)

If Tyler Bass has another bad season, he’s gone. Good kickers are hard to find but a bad one is easily replaceable. He has the ability to be a top kicker in the league but he was objectively one of the worst kickers in the NFL last season.

@@awill3454 agreed, I would think replaceability is highly considered as part of the exercise that Joe and the panel go through. And Bass played like a very replaceable kicker last year, especially at his price tag

All true. So far he has shown us both sides of the coin. While he was def bad it was a higher % than his rookie year and fewest attempts. To my recollection struggling kickers normally kick their way out of it, or get canned. He didn’t have that opportunity. I live next to Robbie Goulds childhood home so I’ve heard a bit about kickers😂

On your list, I would have left out Coleman & Bishop, because it’s all hope at this point whereas the other players have a track record. Because of this, I would have replaced them with Shakir & Taron Johnson.

I would have put Shakir on the list before Keon. He has proven he can perform at a high level. Keon has done nothing and it’s unrealistic to expect more until we’ve seen something.

I gotta say Joe a finance ad is so much better than a sports betting ad. For one its actually interesting to me but also it promotes much healthier habits and usage of your money. I know we gotta do whatever pays the bills but in the future those are much more preferable to betting ads. All the betting ads I see remind me of cigarette ads

How can you not even mention James Cook? Keon Coleman has not even played an NFL snap yet and has issues getting open versus college level CBs, can't even put him in the top 30 as he's such an unknown with known issues.

Pro-Bowler James Cook is not even mentioned in your list? NFL is downplaying the importance of a running back. Listing two rockies ahead of a pro-bowler running back makes the list questionable.
