It is more important to figure how many actual passes and for how many yards that each receiver will catch rather than projected targets.

Kincaid and Shakir as 1-2 is exactly what I’ve been expecting too Absolutely pumped for this 120 or so Kincaid 90 Shakir 80 Samuel + 25-30 rush touches Nailed it man

Mack Hollins with Derek Carr had 57 receptions and 4 touchdowns while also excelling as a blocker and special teams player. He could with Josh Allen be a great red zone threat, and a 1000 yard complete receiver.
@RonDavies-zd5zo4 сағат бұрын
Casey Toohilll has the highest RAS rating on the team, Ithat is better than Travis Kelsey. Playing 8 games last year for Washington, he had 5 sacks. He could be a double-digit sack contributor, especially with his new D.C. Check his Stanford tape when he was not injured, and you will see his strong upside and potential. He only needs playing time to flourish as he proved in a limited opportunity last year. He is a great locker room presence as well.
@IhaveseensoIbelieve8 сағат бұрын
I personally believe that the offensive targets will be spread around, much like the Saints did during Drew Brees prime. Since Joe Brady is an off shoot of the S. Payton coaching tree the target share was unpredictable game to game. The only viable week to week starters in fantasy football was obviously Drew Brees, then J. Graham, Colston, Sproles and Ingram. The other targets were divided up out of who ever had the hot hand in a particular game,, probably match up based. So moving forward to the Bills, I feel that Shakir, and Kincaid will lead the team in targets both slightly over 100, then the combination of Cooks and Davis around 65, then the remaining will be based on match ups per game.

Hi Joe, great podcast! I like this years receivers more than last years. Diggs was great, but if you stopped him you stopped the Bills. Who will the defense against us try and take away, we will most likely target the best matchup which should lead lead to more success

This exercise is a total crapshoot so I appreciate the thought process and projections. So much has been said about YAC over the years. Shakir, Cook, Samuel and Davis are the guys I look for the Bills/Brady to scheme effectively for YAC. As such, I see Cook getting less than your projection and Davis more than your projection. Kincaid is the guy who gets the most targets and Shakir/Samuel a close second/ third. Coleman is a massive wildcard and fans how think this guy is ready to take a lion's share of targets is going to be disappointed. Coleman needs time to figure out the offense and time for Josh Allen to trust he will be where he wants at the time he expects him to be there.
@upstatenydude832210 сағат бұрын
Considering, as Joe correctly pointed out, Josh likes to throw to guys he trusts. With that, I think Knox gets a bit more than 45, otherwise I can see this distribution as how things shake out this season.

I think that for this particular kind of offense and the way that it’s being built, it’s going to be a hot hand approach. Meaning it’s impossible to really calculate anybody’s usage.. that being said I’m not gonna for sure say anything until training camp is over kind of like what you were saying Joe. Because somebody might separate themselves from the rest and that might change the offense moving forward
@peterwilson48659 сағат бұрын
This is definitely a based sort of take imo. I agree in principle, but Kincaid is going to get 120+. Kincaid and Shakir will probably get 160-180 combined. The rest will be more like what you describe and largely game plan dependent.
@kentcarmack587912 сағат бұрын
With as much turnover as the bills have had this off season they are probably going to be finding their identity week to week for a while. Who knows they may run the ball way more than expected
@IronBullBenchers12 сағат бұрын
I'm optimistic the Bills will be better this year without Allen feeling pressured to force it to Diggs. Play situational football, take what the defense gives you and Go Bills!!!

If Dawson Knox gets as many targets this season as Shakir did last sesson and Cook gets more than last year, Im concerned the Bills will have a lot of stalled drives. Lets hope not.

I think Keon will get a good number of the screens Diggs got last year as well as some quick hitch routes just to get the ball in his hands and let him be elusive. I think he's going to be around 50-60 targets as well. They built a WR room that doesn't require Coleman to be a big contributor this year.

Haters gonna hate. You're obviously clueless. Allen is the best qb in football. Better stats than both Mahomes and the Affirmative Action MVP award "winner" joke Lamar Jackson. Allen was the REAL MVP homey. Get it straight! Oh and Super Bowls are TEAM accomplishments. Lamar had a better and healthy defense and shite the bed versus KC's vaunted defense. Allen had 3 tds 0 turnovers vs that defense. It was just that our defense was decimated with injuries. Only thing Bills don't have is luck. But we will overcome that and you'll still just be an ignorant hater. Dueces ✌ chump.
@aaronbutler937312 сағат бұрын
@@BillsMafiaExperience Josh is DEI hire. He is low IQ and can't lead real men. Hence he leads NFL in turnovers (102) since he entered NFL. Lamar Jackson is 58-19 career. He's 4th all time win percentage. On way to be 1st all time. Lamar is Hall of Fame without winning a Super Bowl. Josh is a media concoction. Nothing more.

What’s up with stashing away players on IR? Does the NFL not look into that or audit team medical staffs? You’ve alluded to it several times, but Justin Shorter was healthy the entire preseason last year and coincidentally on cut day developed a season long undisclosed injury

One thing that bills have repeatedly done is take guys who are extremely young Gabe Elam Edmunds Rousseau and again this year I can't figure out why they come in understandably why not ready physically mentally or emotionally ready to start so you end up having to wait costing opportunities for them to contribute. I thought they saw this I decided not to do it anymore when they drafted Kincaid older mature ready to go. But they're back to it if you were in a position where you're building okay but you don't see teams like the Kansas City Chiefs drafting these younger guys they take older players that they can plug in and play and if they hit one they re-sign him if not they draft somebody else. I don't know if they're trying to get a player who can play 17 years does it make not a lot of sense it makes no sense. By the time it takes him to develop they leave because they've been here from 20 years old till they're 24
