I think he’s a good player, but probably no better than Rieko Ione (who should be on the wing). I believe DuPont is the world player of the year anyway. Ireland have some tremendous players, and are ranked number 1 in the world. I admit to being biased I’m a Kiwi, but I think the impact that Savea has on every game he plays is far far greater than Am’s, and Ardie is incredibly consistent, he is always one of the best players on the pitch……..every game, and has been for the last 3 or 4 years.

@@kainoizking Sexton at his best is definitely a contender. But honestly, you are the first person I have seen list Owen Farrell as being amongst the top two NH players right now. Romani Ntamack is World class but I don't think he has reached his peak yet he is only 23 after all. Also since you mentioned a few British and Irish players I would like to remind you Itoje outperformed his other British and Irish Lions team mates in the Lions tour last year and was voted Lions player of the series.

I’d still go with Marx over savea, his ability over the ball is the best in the game right now.

He’s also one of, if not THE most destructive and dynamic ball runner in the world, he has the pace of a back with the strength of a bull. His post contact meters are ridiculous and his offload post contact is equally ridiculous. Amazing footwork, rock solid on defence while being a huge disruption at the breakdown and to top it off, he’s a lineout option. In my mind he’s the best but I also understand how DuPont is still considered the best.

You forgot Maro Itoje. He was a nominee for world player of the year last year and has been the best player in the English side for years now. I wouldn't say he is the best in the World but he is definitely up there as one of the best.

The box kicking, lineout maul tactics are still amazing to watch, it's just this thing that yeah, when the backs do play, you can really see the talent. He's been integral on most of the Bok tries that weren't scored off a maul, so i'm not sure how you can reduce his influence to the level of those others. The only one worth comparing him to is duPont.

It's nice to have a 10 who will run at the line and tackle the biggest bastard on the other side without hesitation (Jonny Wilkinson is my favorite 10 of all time.
