Final have a knack for making great-sounding IEMs. The ZE3000 is their latest true wireless (TWS) IEM set. Could these be good budget audiophile earphones? I put them through their paces.

I must be in the minority where no Type-E tips don’t stay put in my ears regardless of size. I’m using Moondrop Spring tips with my ZE3K and that combinatiom has worked a treat.

Definitely sounds like Final tuning. I loved my Sonorous IIIs for certain types of music but all-rounders they definitely aren't. Good in their niche though.

Is this fully made in Japan? I heard final audio has their own factory in Japan but I saw the trend of several audio related companies outsourcing the production of wireless or bluetooth products to China.

Many things are made in China since forever. If it’s made in Japan, you’d be paying at least double the price plus no international release.

These are actually old. These were released last year, and lack many of the features that we all have come to expect in this price range. For example, no noise canceling, no transparency mode, no wireless charging, no quick charging, call quality is subpar, no app, no gaming mode, etc. Terrible value for money. These need to drop to around 70 USD

The thing that bugs me the most is the poor call quality. This is the area that earbuds tend to fall short in the most.

You are not buying this for those features. This is a pair of audiophile earbuds for audiophiles.
