The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by 159.7cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 17.39 bhp and a torque of 14.73 Nm.This Apache RTR 160 4V bike weighs 146Kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
The TVS Apache RTR 180 offers 177.4cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 17.02 bhp and a torque of 15.5 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, TVS Apache RTR 180 comes up with ABS braking system. Apache RTR 180 bike weighs 140 kg with a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
TVS has updated the Apache RTR 180 to comply with the side stand engine cut off Sensor . The latest Apache RTR 180 comes with a LED headlight with LED DRL , an LED taillight, semi-digital instrument cluster and a muscular design.

Nice comparo. You understand both the bikes very well. RTR 180 sounds better. Without a doubt, Clip-on handlebars give better feedback. Honestly speaking, I've extensively ridden every single RTR model, but the 180 BS3 is the most wild and impressive one among all the RTRs in terms of performance, even sportier and meaner than the RTR 200. If performance and raw mechanical feel are what one is looking for, just go for 180. It's a pure savage,the one and only Beast of TVS.

Absolutely correct,I have bs3 rtr180 2010 model. 1.7lakhs done so far and still running strong, if you have rtr180 then I'll recommend you to replace your stock clutch with rtr 200ART sliper clutch,I've done it, pick up is now faster than rtr200, more smooth gearbox and shifting ,better mileage,no jerk meanwhile downshift etc. Best bike in 180 segment ♥️

@@mohitranjitthakur RTR 180 is a gem of a bike. For a reason, it is compared with bikes which are price-wise one segment above . It destroys the same segment bikes so badly. Riding dynamics is crazy because of shorter wheelbase, lightweight chassis and short rake. It has better in-gear acceleration than my own 2022 NS200. Ride safe ❤️.

@@Nothing__fancy If the clutch case,bracket etc are the same as the previous models then it'll definitely fit but if your 180 is FI then ask the supervisors of an authorised TVS service centre whether it'll successfully match or not. As the ECU command of the bike will be limited to the stock manufactured power figures unlike the carburettor version where you can manually adjust air/fuel settings. In my opinion it'll definitely match if done under the TVS professionals.
