The NEW Milwaukee Tool M18 PACKOUT Light/Charger has updated LEDs that increase light output and runtime providing all-day lighting ability with the option of charging a battery while in use. Being a PACKOUT system, this light is portable and powerful. The LED lights have 3000 Lumens of what Milwaukee Tool calls TRUEVIEW High Definition Output. Milwaukee claims that the TRUEVIEW High Definition Output allows the user the closest possible experience as one would get with normal sunlight. This allows for easy color recognition and is easy on your eyes for long term working situations.
Beyond just being portable, the lights on this PACKOUT include three independent rotating light heads. The rotating lights allow for complete control over the lighting direction. There are three different modes (All Lights, Main Panel, or Back/Front Lights), each including high, medium, and low settings. On low with the two smaller lights, Milwaukee Tool claims up to 31 hours of runtime with one M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5.0 Battery. There is also an AC input for all-day runtime and M18 Battery charging.
The Milwaukee Tool PACKOUT Light is IP54 rated and allows you to charge devices with the 2.1AMP USB output and store small items inside the storage compartment.

Wish they would put the power cord connection on the vacuum as well. Would be a great upgrade.

They could have made it hold/ charge 2 batteries and give it the m18 topoff capabilities, then I’d buy it

The light is cool seems like they need a new designer tho unless there is a inverter inside there to run 120 why the hell didn’t they utilize the extra space for other random things like say a removable inspection light that charges when it’s docked I have ideas for days

If I were in the milwaukee platform would I buy this? NO but what I like about milwaukee making things like this light is the fact it forces other companies to also innovate.

How harsh is the light? I have the little M12 light and find it almost unusable because the light is so glaring. I usually always use my Makita fluorescent tube style light.

I picked this up Sunday, to go with. Y Packout m18 Shopvac I got 2 weeks ago. Mainly for a charger, but also water resistant lights (on ridgids 18v line with all their severely not water resistant anything). It'll take 4.5hrs to charge my 12ah, but I charge overnight so not to worried.

It needs to also charge 12v batteries. This replaces nothing. I still have to pack a dual charger, and a roving light. So this only solves me hanging a light on my packout. Swing and a miss.

We might get a redesign that has more space. I’m on the fence just because the storage is just a bit too small; if it had enough space to store a XC5 or XC6 along with a few screwdrivers and maybe one or two wrenches (10-12in. long) then I’d definitely get one. Hopefully we get a slight redesign. 🤞
