I spent 2 hours and 45 minutes yesterday suffering
and apparently in around 10-15 minutes playing it today, I won..
THANK GOD, I AM SO GLAD THAT ICY HELL IS OVER, CAUSE I DONT WANNA HAVE TO PERFECT BLOCK EVERY ATTACK AND ONLY HAVE ONE RECOVERY ITEM (that being the pizza, and since it’s gone, uh, wish me luck if I ever try chapter 2 but in the masochist edition of the game!)
oh and btw ik I’m not the only one trying to speedrun the game like this, so if your one of those people attempting this too, good luck on cruel king, he is a damn pain to deal with
Edit: by the way, I may be taking a few days break off masochist or hard mode because that HardMode+ (or masochist mode as I call it) for the cruel king has drained my sanity and he still haunts me..so uh, thanks for watching the series, and hopefully I’ll continue it soon!

it hurted me so much when you used that Apple Pie also don't worry about wasting the Pizza, if you go fishing theres a chance you get a Whale (in which is an item that can heal you up to 50 just like the Whole Pizza)

Trust me,i dont know if this is suffering or being lucky but the cruel king literaly got me to 1 hp,i was at despair,until i kept dodging the attacks and eventually beated the king

@@UnKnOwN_DrEaMeR4042brownies, even tho they can be used twice, give 10-11 health on use double cheeseburgers give 13, which isn’t much more, but if we are talking about a life or death scenario where every turn matters in killing the cruel king you can prob do it with brownies but I didn’t want to risk it (and grind even more tix than I had to for all the items) (Because Item+ every item is +30% better, forgot to say that incase)

Use brownies instead of double burgers for better healing. The brownies do 10 hp heal and u can use it 2 times

did this earlier, if you take mortal damage and the king dies to fire/cactus effect you'll still win before u die from the mortal damage thing and you will win, its how i did it EDIT: the king gotta be 1 hp and resurrect is great in this aswell

a king who claims to hear voices and froze a village took a dagger that he claims he can "Change the future of Blackrock" with and a staff that can make a freezing beam of ice an army of knights with healing powers and finally can permanetly freeze you to death. VS.... Blue but he learned how to get more hp block superguard and has a ball

I'd call the hardmode+difficulty cards as Agony mode. As it's just genral agony having 4x dmg. 4x less block frame and no super guard.

@@TheRealQuinn- what I meant is that "thick skull" is the only challenge card that doesn't actually change the boss fights in anyway except not rewarding you for defeating them nor does it change how you interact with them if you're referring to having the card enabled for the entire run, then yeah, that's just simply not possible when stacked with the other challenge cards, so there's a reason people only disable "thick skull" not only does it not actually change the difficulty of the fights whatsoever, but having it enabled the entire run/playthrough with the other challenge cards is, again, just not possible
