Starkey is the only hearing aid manufacturer to offer a nearly-invisible completely-in-canal hearing aid with full wireless functionality via Bluetooth. The Evolv AI CIC currently supports wireless audio streaming from iPhone and Android, and fully hands-free phone calls with iPhone. Nice comprehensive review! A couple of footnotes: The naming of some features has changed: Thrive Care = Hear Share Hearing Care Anywhere = TeleHear For remote programming, the disadvantage is that you indeed cannot look into the ear canal. What you can do, however, is to use Self-Check to see if the speaker output and microphone input are not fouled or clogged.

Nice review! With the Bluetooth connect to AppleTV and MacOS or just iOS? If they do connect how is LipSync with videos or Zoom?

Is there are advantage/disadvantage of using the wireless vs battery version of the Starkey CIC? I'd rather the wireless as I currently wear Resound One wireless hearing aids. I can't take the wind noise and my glasses scraping against the hearing aids any more. Time to try something different.

As a user of the Phonak Virto B90, I am ready for a change, but non-duplex bluetooth will not work for me. I am often using both hands when someone calls and can't pull my Android phone out of my pocket. However, the language translation feature is important to me and an outstanding feature of this Evolv AI CIC.

Very interesting video. I have had Starkey CIC in the past and am currently using both Phonak CIC and also bluetooth Oticon behind the ear . I cant wait to try Bluetooth CIC hearing aids and wonder if these are now available in the UK and at what price . I use hearing aids in both ears.

Hey Neija, great question. Starkey haven’t made it easy. Genesis AI is the new family of hearing aids but it doesn’t have a Bluetooth CIC, so if you’re interested in that it needs to be Evolv AI. I hope that helps, Matthew

I have tested these CIC´s and i was not so amazed about it. The Bluetoothrange was very small, not compareable to airpods, this is why i have choosed the IIC Model + Air Pods.

I don't understand. I have the signia silk 7x. Which I can control through an app. Is there any custom fit iics on the market using the same technology? (I'm aware it's not bluetooth) thanks in advance 🙏

Yes Starkey have a version without Bluetooth and you can use the T2 app if that’s what you mean? I hope this helps, Matthew

I have a question that I cannot find an answer for. Does anyone make a telecoil loop receiver to Bluetooth transmitter that operates on a battery. It would be very convenient to go to a venue that has a telecoil and to bring a device that has the telecoil receiver and a Bluetooth transmitter built in. Turn it on connect the device to the telecoil and have it transmit via Bluetooth to my hearing aids. Are you aware of anybody making such a device.

🤣 man I remember the previous evolv ai where it had blue tooth but the pull string was a non coilable antenna that made you look like your trying to uplink to a satellite oh wait seems this is the one

Just awful. Poor canal impressions by the fitter. 3 different ones made and still feedback. Changed to Phonak CIC and worked from the off.

I bought Starky Evolv AI from Cenaudi Mx in Playa del Carmen. and they didn't work, the techs couldn't fix them and they wouldn't give me a refund within the 30 days. Terrible, terrible experience! they don't stand behind them at all. Don't buy them! is my comment.
