3 year using it nd finally break .. I'm definitely buying Harbor freight impact sockets 👌 not like other brand that cost more nd break in a month 🤦‍♂️

i had lots of s/o break. I have never had a pittsbugh pro socked break. I am a professional mechanic and used them for 25 years with no problem. when i bought them i was just planning to use them until i could afford a s/o set but i looked down 20 years later and realized that i was still using the same set! also none of them got stolen.

That 19 is clearly beat to shit from use, and presumably still works - where's that video? That's a 4.00 socket compared to 20.00 for an SK or 40.00 for Snap-On. that whole set is 20.00 on sale.

I broke a 15/16th shallow after 5 years. Used it normally 2 to 4 times a week on 5/8s frame bolts, anywhere from 2 to 15 at a time with a nitrocat rated at 900ft lbs. I don't have a single complaint

About $20 per set with the coupon.. Warranty the cracked socket. At $20 per set, get two sets as spares or a total of three, one sockets dies, two more as back up until the socket can be warranty replaced.... Wrench On, ~What's not to like?

I’ve broken my Pittsburgh 17mm. I’ve never broken a snap on, Mac or Matco 1/2 impact socket. Wasn’t mad about it for the price of the sockets. Was annoyed I had to go find a replacement wheel bolt.

Same thing. My pittsburg pro, always swore by them (over 10 years old - taiwan). 19mm is my lug nut socket too. well worn (looked like yours) today. First it rounded a lug nut at 500lbs impact. The next nut broke it. I scratched my head with a broken heart. Maybe Chromoly can only stand so many hits? My gun goes to 1500lbs, and haven't had an issue. So now I'm looking for similar stories or another brand.

I had the original set from Pittsburgh that were shiny no those things are straight junk the second I put them on the eathquack 1/2 I broke just about every one that I have used warrantied them a couple years later and got the new normal looking impacts I havent broken one of them I'd definently buy again

I already have had snap on sockets break on me that’s why all manufactures stamp on their products wear eye protection that was nice just a crack on the side I had a 3/4 “ frag on me hope for best prepare for the worst .

A lot of socket sets are missing those sizes, if you want them all you could go and pay a ton for them. Stuff breaks man, and you know the old saying, you get what you pay for. I'd buy them in a heartbeat

Have these use them for deck work lag's through bolts ect.Never had a problem with the Pro series.

I have shallow pb pro, had them for 10 years used professionally, and that still work fantastic. I think you were abusing it, also the 21 always breaks because the casting is thinner, that goes for even top tier brands like snap on.

lol 3 years , How big a air impact you have on it ?? 1/2 inch or 3/4 . I am looking for a set of deep well Husky or Pittsburg I may use a deep well about 3 times a year in my half inch impact 600 foot pound of torque . or the 3/4 impact every 3 years , not often i need the big boy 1200 pounds of torque. for home use I be happy a socket last 3 years , unless its every time I use it .

dude. the set is like $20. you think they just sell just 1 socket??? what the hell were you doing wrong to crack it? i have that set, never had to use an 16, 18, or 20. i have had my set for over 10 yrs. they are still good. i have used 17 the most, and its still as solid since i bought them.

Huh, you buy a cheap set and complain ? Seriously ? I had a snap on 17 mm split on me. Why ? It was seriously worn out. But seriously, any socket you use often, you need to buy the best out there. For me it was snap on or mac. Never broke a impact socket again.

How can you complain when cheap tools break, you bought crap, that's what happens. Impact sockets don't last that long anyway, they're designed to wear. Astro pneumatic make a good recently priced set though I'd just stick with cheapos seeing as all you do is take your lug nuts off by the looks of it
