I set myself a personal challenge to get this receiver up and running before the year was out. It's based off Tony's schematic, I still need to add a bandpass filter, an RF Preamp and an AF preamp before the LM386. But hey, somehow it works so far! Thanks for watching.

That's impressive. What band(s) does it work on?

Hi Alan, thanks! It will work from MW right up to the 4m Band it seems. It does need a preamp and bandpass filter to improve it from this stage though.
