Mike you may have just changed my way of thinking about getting a Z06. The torque is what I think is the most fun, not top end speeds. It’s the light to light on the street. Thanks BOS

Ive got many miles in an E Ray. Holy cow is right! The ZO6 is for the track, the E Ray is for the street! Be careful, your eye balls will slap against the back of your skull!😵‍💫😉👍🏻🇺🇲❤️

I've loved the E-Ray right from the start. Even more than the ZO6. It's electrical system is effectively that of the F1's KERS setup. It's a true race car. Save the Wave, but always keep two hands on the wheel. 😊

I was kind of pissed they deleted the Grand Sport, this is a cool option. Actually better,you get all wheel drive & that sound under acceleration!!

@richardmorris7063 If they hadn't deleted the GS, it probably would have severely reduced the sales of the ZO6. That's what happened with the C6 and C7 generations. It's all about the number a and profits.

Hard to tell it apart form a z06 😬 unless it was a z07 with that beautiful high wing. Then that's the only way to tell the difference. I've had the supersports which are the predecessor to these tires. I hated them. Rocks everywhere and the new ones I installed only lasted me 2 years (5k miles) that's it! In hot weather it took a while to warm up and get grip. And in the winter although I didn't drive it in the snow, I did drive it during freezing weather and it would not hook for the life of me! And I was always worried about the compound cracking! I do drive me c7 z06 year round. 4-5 times per week, although short distances. I purchased the all seasons last year over 3k miles and still look new! The supersports would have been through half it's life right now!

I agree. No one complains how heavy a fighter jet is. It just needs to be fast and maneuverable. That’s the E-Ray!

@s.beasley8926 but it's not really that fast, and 0-60 is irrelevant these days, it's all about 60-130 the true test on how fast a car is.

I actually would love an E-Ray. The whine sounds like fun but they don't have OEM wheels with the red striped in forged wheels. I wouldn't want the carbon fiber red stripe... if the E-Ray is already out of my price range with the CF wheels is way more lol. But I am happy with my 2024 C8 Stingray with the Red striped wheels.

@amiller2121 still too close in price to a zo6, plus i don't really trust chevy and more advanced electronics, they still have issues with the dct here and there, you're better off with base c8 or wait for the grandsport with the widebody, that pretty much why some even want the eray in the first place.

Too me the ZO6 is a much better car . I would keep my regular C8 or get a ZO6 this car is definitely not worth the extra 50 thousand over the base C8 . With the ZR1 coming out at the ZO6 being naturally aspirated this car will be quickly forgotten .

Nice review, I initially was not interested in eray, but after watching this, I would definitely give it a much closer look. For now my radar is on a 2025 CT5v Blackwing, then hopefully sometime after that will be a ZR1, and that will complete my car buying for a while, not sure how many more years we are going to get V8s, so I am going to stock for a while. Cause honestly full EVs doesn’t interest me what so ever, if it doesn’t go fast and burn gas, not interested. Nice video, keep up the great work.

I don’t think most ‘24 C8 owners are aware that you can grab the hook on the frunk and if you tug it down with a little bit of force and let go, it will automatically close just like the rear hatch. Your don’t have to touch the frunk/hood to press down and this eliminates fingerprints.

This frustrates me so mulch. It is not a hybrid at all. There are two independant motors. The gas engine charges the battery is all. It's not hybrid, just ask Corvette or look up the definition of hybrid. Your choice, but please stop calling it that b3cause it isn't.
