I just fitted a diesel heater to my small place and it’s the best thing I’ve bought this year,only uses 150 ml of diesel an hour on full power,

That sounds very ecomomical. Probably cheaper than firewood. But I have a fairly large place to heat.

@@trappingworld6463 yeah a 3/4 bedroom house you may need a few but has in mind your trapping cabin you built if you are only in there a short while,instant heat and can turn it off at a touch of a button

Should check out ssl family dad channel,same size burner but he also fitted a water pump with copper pipe in the burn chamber changing to pvc outside to circulate hot water around his pvc greenhouse and was able to carry on growing throughout the winter

I have not set a marten trap until we have enough snow for me to tell. But with them ripping out more of the bush on my line it probably won't be very good.

@@trappingworld6463 yeah same over here there logging on my trapline. But there is a lot and I mean a lot of mink . Too bad they ain’t worth anything. But I’m hoping to get some trapping in during the holidays .

Why the wheels on it? So if you move you can take it with ya? Now every time you’re in the bush hunting fur you will also be hunting firewood. Nice project 👍

The wheels are cause I built it over at my shed where the welder is and I didn't think I copuld carry it in my packsack. LOL And for the firewood I work at a fence post making mill and I grab all the firewood I can from the waste pile.

been thinking the same just haven't got my arse in gear and done it. do you have that fan on a termastat or runs continous? , just wondering how your controling how hot it gets in the house ? just the damper and drafters ?

For now it is just a plug in deal. I will hook up a thermostat once I get ll the duct work installed.
