Hope it all goes well Lee ❤ The tall trees are Poplar trees. The Match companies used to plant them on people's drives then harvest them from the middle and replant them so there was always an avenue Poplar trees are perfect for matches as the grain is perfectly straight so can be cut thin.

Hey boy don’t beat yourself up to much,go to nw200 have a good time commentating and keep yourself in the spotlight,then head to the TT which you won’t be fit to do(which you will have to come to terms with)but just keep in mind we all want you on the 🇮🇲you will contribute just by being hear and please vlog it all and work with all the guys you have already collaborated with and your profile will be massive for when your fit and ready next year. Lee, we all want to see you healthy and back on the bike and if it takes a little longer than so be it rather than rush it and make more complications down the road. The races aren’t going away so they will be there when you’re healthy enough to race them. Hope all is well with the family to include Mr Happiness himself NEAL! lol Cheers from sunny California.

Looks like Forest Pines golf course…near Scunthorpe 👍. Shame about the NW 200. On my tomorrow for the week…racing to watch and touring about NI and Co Donegal for rest of week👍

Those trees are definitely poplar trees. They are planted to be used as wind breaks across farmland to help stop soil erosion. Used alot around the flat lands of East anglia. Not used as much up north as you have hills.

Poplar trees good for acting as a wind break. That part of the world is so flat, the wind whistles over from Russia!! Used to work outside near there and it used to be the coldest place on earth! Well, it felt like it.

Keep you chin up fella It's easy to see how it's affecting you but when you are ready then you are ready. Gutted for you Lee after all the hard work, but hope you can heal quickly. You have been a great inspiration to me after I had a hip replacement at the beginning of the year, my pain discomfort has been nothing compared to you - keep going and don’t rush the healing although it must be frustrating for you. During my rehab I looked forward to your videos. Best racer blog on KZfaq 👍, hope to see you on the island.

Hey Lee, like a lot of people on here, wishing you all the best & defo keep that chin up mate. Thanks as ever for your honesty too & the vlog..You will get there with the leg & really hope you get to ride at the TT. Gutted that things haven't worked out for NW200 this year. The Triumph looks mint in the new colours & as ever love the bants with you & Neil. Sadly i can't make the NW200 myself but will look forward to your input on the BBC commentary team & hope that we get to see ya out on a bike in the near future. As much as I love the BSS races, it's not the same without you being there in the mix 👍🏻👊🏻

Poplar Trees? I grew up round there. All ours were killed in floods, salt water. Keep on keeping on. You are getting there. 👍👍

Just ordered the trial pack of yfood on yours and neils raving reviews and recomendations,. As for the leg, you managed to get home on it, maybe not the wisest decision, but with all the treatment and quick fixes it doesn't seem to be going your way, TT comeback is a borderline big ask, if its not to be its not to be, british championships a non starter to get anywhere decent in the points to, maybe get back into bsb mid year, and manx gp later on, as for tank paint, General lee flag, stay positive and stay safe,..cheers,...
