I can relate to this story, grew up at my grandparents. Mom got married to someone else leaving me at 6months to her parents. Later my biological dad dad whom I never met while alive, met him on his burial day in the coffin I was around 10yrs or so. Dad had remarried too with kids, mom too had other kids. It was the most confusing time of my life as a child. Thank God my grandparents used to tell me about my biological dad here and there. Going for his funeral was a tough one I wanted run away, all this time I wanted my mom just to assure me all will be well but no she never showed up or even talked me. After the burial my aunt took me as my dad had wished before he died. My grandparents facilitated everything and I came to a totally new family, thank God my aunt took good care of me, educated me from class 5 to college. I felt betrayed by my mom by her never telling me anything about my dad and until now she has never talked about my dad to me. She remains my mom and I thank God for everything. My step mom too has been amazing, anytime I go home she treats me so well. My step dad was ok too. Am a blessed child. Cyrus am glad your mom came forward. Spend time with her, I wish I had time with my dad, I missed out on a father's love. God bless you
