The 3 dancers in the quarter finals battle against the 3 judges for a space in the semi-finals. After the judge battles are finished though there's an uneven number of contestants left (3), so the dancer with no opponent gets to select a previously eliminated dancer to return to the competition for a chance at redemption.

@@rami1329 "Officially", its gone. It was on the SDF site for around a month (5 euros). The Paradox vs Alex video on youtube cuts off right before Paradox challenges Rubix. I havent tried looking since after I saw it the day of.

Imo you never get that impression in the video that he was thinking that last quote. Also, I'm not making excuses, I'm rationalizing on how Rubix acted in this battle. To reiterate : he already knows he's not on the same level, so he took the challenge like a champ and didn't express any Ego whatsoever in the end. But let's hypothesize : even if he was more battle-heavy in the video but kept the same energy, or was less tired than Paradox and was going all out in his rounds, I still wouldn't believe one second that he'd admit to winning, he'd still say that he lost just out of respect. It doesn't downgrade his humbleness in any way. Say for example if Rubix was acting like Gonzy against Alex and was going ham, he'd still give the win to his opponent, because in the end : who deserves it more in this context ?

@@snagc4b427 wha downplays his humbleness is heavily expressing or putting extreme emphasis on the fact that he was tired & things like that when it don’t rlly matter when Rubix knows the level gap. Like he’s not in battle mode or sum. Everything you said was valid buh it’s backwards to wha I was saying( talking abt the humble part), other then that I agree buh heavily pressing that he was wasn’t in battle mentality etc jus sounds more like an excuse. I mean yea ppl have a off night etc buh I’d jus chalk it up to off night & dats it buh that’s how Rubix normally dances to me buh I can admit he did start to decline in the rounds mentality.

@@snagc4b427 i wouldn't even say its not humble for Rubix to say he didn't lose, to me that's just he was mentally over it. I woulda thought as a competitior, he would say "I won" even though he know he lost, so he could get in another round. He was selling himself short imo. It looked like he had defeated himself from the start, you could tell by his eyes and his body language

Paradox was not at his best lol if you check out his rounds against lumi in the finals he was more in the zone stop making excuses for rubix as he would of lost either way

But the thing is, you can read it in alot of ways, anything could be valid depending on your pov : it was schooling session from Paradox / Paradox went bonkers out of revenge against Rochka (a battle act, so nothing serious) / Rubix couldn't believe he got picked back up / Rubix, after going all out previously, couldn't muster more energy because when you pause after effort and pick it back up, your body doesn't respond well to that (see Rochka's stamina management in 2019) / Paradox wanted Rubix back because he respects his level for his age, but he also sees potential growth in him and wants to let it known to him etc etc ... You can discuss about alot of things, but it can be interesting to get a live exchange between Paradox and Rubix on this battle, cause its not just a typical battle.

@@SpergKing nah Paradox is in his prime here. Rubix looks like he needed some milk and to go to bed. Look at Rubix’s battles from the last 6 months. You can tell when he is tapped in and tapped out. This looks like he was tapped way out creatively and just going through the motions. Read other peoples comments about what Rubix said on social media. It can happen to any dancer. There are times Paradox is tapped out too. Happens to anyone: Majid a lot these days, sometimes even Alex, Larry from Les Twins. You can tell when two people are battling at max.
