I'm definitely interested in acquiring these at some point looking forward to seeing you put them through the paces

I gotta get me some Capri tools. They look really good for the price. I recently got the whole set of the craftsman 120 position ratchets in 1/4 , 3/8 & 1/2” and they are really nice for $100 for all of them. Then I got the ratcheting wrench set and slide hammer for a bearing I’ll be doing tomorow. The ratcheting wrenches were somewhat disappointing because a few of them aren’t as smooth as I would like but they are ok for $90 but after seeing those Capri wrenches you have and these ratchets I have to get me some Capri stuff.

Those look pretty sharp. The head looks real similar to the Icon to me.

Very cool looking for sure

That’s my initial impression as well. I need to beat on them a bit…if the tool is of poor quality, it should be apparent within the first few uses…

Wow. A youtuber NOT trying to sell me. Honestly saying how he got items , who gave him what, or if he bought it himself, and plainly stating opinions ( good and bad ) about said products. If your not careful you may get canceled for being truthful ( just kidding ). I really like your videos. Thank you. PS - as for the commentor asking for freebies, just say they are reserved for guy not asking for anything ( not me ) , maybe the doubter or critics. Have a great day.

I need to get my hands on the cornwell locking extension set. Love the blue on it and it looks very high quality.
@MidwestToolReview11 ай бұрын
I'm loving the locking extensions... I have chromes of course, but I primarily use impacts, so I really needed this set. It's no fancier or more high-tech than any other offshore set, however the quality is there and I'm happy I purchased them!!

@@MidwestToolReview what’s the part number for it?
@eliezerramosjr101711 ай бұрын
Just ordered my set couple days ago and can’t wait till they come in. All you need is the 1/4 to complete that sweet set.

The issue with the rear plate screws going into the ratchet body is that if they strip out you cannot rebuild it. However, there is more thread engagement going into body and it's not limited by thickness of rear plate and it looks nicer. Just be careful when torquing these small screws. The quality of the Capri stuff is solid.

I been eyeing these capri long ratchets up for a while. My coarse tooth long Cornwell leaves me stranded to often.

I can say that they chromes are very good. Not saying they’re Snap-on or Mac quality, rather I don’t have any negatives to share that would suggest inferiority or superiority to other brand names…

I certainly hope that they’re better than their previous ratchets. They’re the only Capri purchases I’ve made that I regret buying. The heads in mine are “grainy “ and don’t feel like the components inside the heads were made with precision. They certainly weren’t anywhere near being professional quality.

Need to see a video about these to failure haha. I just bought set of 3 for my tool box at work, and i really would like to know how much i can rely on them. Really hope they work out well tbh for exhaust bolts for transmission r&r

They’re no stronger or weaker than any other 3/8” drive at this length. I think the biggest difference is in the price point. Can you get the same reliability over the life of the tool as you would with a higher-priced brand.

How are the ratchets holding up?

Very well. Been using them daily and I haven’t found any flaws

Don't like the pastel blue handel
@MidwestToolReview11 ай бұрын
I don’t mind it…I’m not a “pastel” colored enthusiast, but it seems fine for these tools.
@Anthony-wj6xb11 ай бұрын
It's horrible. I hate red but baby blue is worse.
@ttran85710 ай бұрын
I'm also not a fan of light blue, but the teeth feel smooth as butter, perfect length, handle with better grip than the gearwrench. Wish it was more of a dark blue
@Anthony-wj6xb10 ай бұрын
@@ttran857 Don't like blue or red n wish it was offered in flexhead ratchets. Lime green, orange, and purple are my personal preferred colors.
