Small feedback: The way your reviews are set up; they really lag after the dramas... Previously you would review dramas within 1-2 days, now it's up to a week afterwards. It feels strange to follow reviews so much later than the streaming of the drama. It is more fun to watch the review of a drama shortly after, so I would request you to reconsider the timings. In any case, our dramas are not some masterpieces that stay in mind for days at end.

Mrs and Mr Shameem. Its very heavy. Mother to child transmission of HIV can be prevented if mom gets treated. There is a drama with Affan Waheed on AIDS as well where they show that the child doesn't get HIV. BRKRJ, although it's well written and lots of important messages good characters the drama should have ended with 25-30 episodes maximum. The stretching out has made it lose some impact and made it a bit boring. I did enjoy the whole conversation between Farhad and Kiran about how boys and girls are conditioned growing up. I would like to see Freeha and Farhad start to fight for their relationship now. Hopefully the next few episodes will shift the focus back on them. My uncle used to live in Manshera so we used to go up to the northern areas in the summer as well. Good memories

Aamna is letting down Shameem very unfairly... What intense story telling, what beautiful performances, the justice done to every character... On one hand, she keeps crying about poor content, on the other hand she pulls down strong content.... She enjoys roasting standard fare dramas, but when it comes to appreciating good content, she desires those same silly tropes that she criticizes in bad dramas... Please clear your head, Aamna... We expect better from you!!

Shiddat: Loved your insight and thoughts Just FYI: I have worked with psychiatrists, and as long as you have the patient's consent, you can discuss everything with parents, Power of attorney, or SDM (Substitute decision maker). In Some cases, you don't even need consent from Patients. Given Asra is queried for being psychotic, she is not capable of making a decision which is why it is totally normal/acceptable to discuss with the family who brought her. With certain mental health conditions like this one, even though the patients are adults, you as a psychiatrist are required to consult and involve and gather collateral info from the parents or SDM for the plan of care. This is the only scenario that can override confidentiality rights.

Mr & Mrs Shameem: I kinda agree with Aamina. There's a lot happening in drama. Every character is suffering in one way or the other. Although there are small victories of each character but still it's too emotional and drains energy of a viewer. There could easily be two or three dramas out of this content. But it's an amazing play, very unconventional, with excellent performances and direction.

Zanjabeel is a crap writer... Accept this fact. Our drama producers have become greedy. All the scripts are obv for a show for 25-30 episodes extended upto 40-50 episodes

Shiddat : I agree it got dragged but it showed the reality of this society and gave some really good lessons to the audience like childhood traumas can lead to mental illness if not treated on time, abuse can be emotional too, how manipulation and gaslighting can destroy someone's mental health and most importantly that taking therapy shouldn't be a taboo. muneeb acted damn well in that particular scene. his expressions, shivering, switcing emotions were commendable! and despite having less dialogues anmol nailed it as asra. She expressed her sorrow, pain, helplessness through her eyes really well which isn't everyone's cup of tea. I dont relate to asra but i feel connected with her, all thanks to anmol's portrayal of asra!👏🏼👏🏼 Can't wait to see sultan getting his karma and asra healing and living her life the way she wants and deserves.

There’s no comparison with Mrs. And Mr. Shamim. Yes, it is heavy but it’s such a great content! It’s educational, great script, amazing cast and performances. How could you overlook that? I’m shocked to see you guys watching and reviewing shitty drama like shiddat and praising the performances but you have a problem with M & M Shamim?! Yes, it is heavy. If you don’t like it don’t watch it, but don’t drag it down.

This therapist questioning and treating asra was far more believable than yumna zaidi questioning the three thugs on her show !!! Sajal pushing a cart with a 170 pound pregnant woman to the hospital by herself ..I mean you guys didn’t even blink an eye on it !!! Also if the patient consents to his case being discussed with parents the therapist and the doctor gives all information to the guardians or caretakers ! I some times feel you both are so liberal and accomadating to some dramas and your fav actors and then to some overly dissecting and critical !! I can pinpoint a thousand faults with a weak gentleman acting and script and point out some brilliance in Shidat / jaan nisar / noor jahan etc

Northern Pakistan - I came from NYC to Pakistan last year and did a private tour. I had the time of my life other than that I was stuck for 3 days because of land-sliding and then I had to come back to Islamabad by road because flight from hunza got canceled So my recommendation is to travel in and out of Skardu - don’t rely on airport in hunza. I mean hunza is pretty but oh my god, Skardu is also beautiful. Some parts were As beautiful as Switzerland. My guide was originally from Skardu so he knew everyone and pretty cool places.

Anmol has done a very good job in whatever marjin she had. Her acting and expressions were really subtle and convincing and it could have easily go ott but it didn't and all the credits goes to her only. All she needs is a good script where she can showcase her talent and i hope she will get that opportunity real soon

Here i would like to add one thing related to therapist conversation with parents as a psychology student. Therapists are required to involve parents or guardians when its about the safety of their client. However, the therapist should have informed Asra first that when your safety is at risk so your guardians will be involved but only relevant information will be shared.

The scene was perfectly acted by Anmol as well & she is nailing the character. . This story provides a nice introduction to narcotics and complicated individuals. Such people are difficult to live with, and they don't let their partner leave them. Different from the usual dramas about mother-in-law and daughters-in-law.

as much as i really appreciate good content and dark shows but there are just so many issues discussed in mrs and mr shamim that it seems to be crumbling down by its own weight. no doubt its still engaging its still very heavy

Why do you always say: "Zanjabeel ki writing hai. Likhna ata hai". Why do you trust her writing so much? She has been writing bad script and dialogues. You can't just write it off like that for so many dramas. Just because Pyar k Sadqay was a success doesn't mean all of her written scripts are logical. I don't think she is a good writer bcz the ratio of her good and bad scripts is way off-balanced.

I absolutely loved Mr and Mrs shameen , but it is very heart heavy . Abandoning your child is not an option. One after the other there is crisis in shameem’s life . His niece has to be raped and so on. The tragedies keeps piling up. Yet the performances keep you enthralled .

Hmaray dramas mein bs jo aik drama k baad jo aik cheez ka trend bn jata hai na...Aik drama me larki ki mental health pe drama bnana chaha tau bs hr kisi ne raid hi laga di hai, hr drama mein koi paglaa jata hai, traumatise ho jata hai aur aik therapist ya psychologist ya psychatarist a jata just for the sake of it without doing even slightest of research how these sessions even proceed and are conducted. In Jaffa also i'm one of the girl is going mental health issues and we will see another therapist...Arre bs kro...You arent getting any of it right and it might be triggering for people who actually face such mental health issues!!!
