Weibo gaming as a team is literally just TheShy + Weiwei and 3 silvers as far as pro play is concerned. Not gonna lie Weibo got gifted a free road to the finals more or less. They coinflipped the only western team NRG from NA in Quarters and then got a same region matchup vs BLG.

What they meant is that Top and Jungle were carryoing all the games without the possibility for Guma to shine. Guma himself said in the trophy interview that he toight he played not optimally this series. But again, it's not his fault. This happens when you're against an inferior team and your teammates are destroying everything. Especially because Oner played exclusively on toplane all the series.

Yeah that comment about Guma is just beyond ignorant and silly. Weibo gaming literally has the most elo boosted bot lane and mid lane in the entire tournament. Weibo's entire finals strategy was "camp top, get TheShy ahead and try to make Zeus irrelevant and pray to god that mid+bot diff isn't so massive" Weibo played top and got shit on even in Game 1 where Weibo got TheShy ahead. When I saw Weibo draft Senna TK for Game 1 I knew this was going to be a 3-0 purely because Weibo is literally saying "hopefully our top+JG can 2v5 because the rest of our team is dogshit." You don't draft Senna TK to win lane, unless you're Guma and Keria and just hands diff your opponents into double ranged matchup.

MVP for T1 was BLG for sending home Gen G on their bracket lol But seriously, it's kinda ironic that T1 had to choke in the finals (vs DRX) to make a series exciting because when they're in they're zone, they just blast their enemies and the series got zero hype. The finals would have been legendary if Gen G didn't choke on the other side. But whatever...T1 really deserve to win it all.

i think i don’t see Gen G winning in this T1 form. perma ban rakan and alistar for delight is so GG for Gen g. also this is worlds. this is not LCK where Gen G always pop off. Even in MSI T1 defeat Gen G.

@@markangelobalquero7342 Yeah, T1 would still most likely win but at least it should have been more competitive because of familiarity. The narrative would have also been better. The best scenario though would have been JDG on the other side and have T1 vs KT or T1 vs Gen G on semis. But again, I'll take whatever the results were as long as my boys get the summoner's cup they so deserve.

@@NetzkabelLP If JDG were the final LPL team they had to face in the finals, then yes it would have been better. My main point was just that the finals was supposed to be where two of the best teams should battle it out. WBG was not top 2 and arguably not top 4 of the strongest teams. Just to clear it out, I was very satisfied with the result being a diehard T1 fan, but as a fan of the game, nope the finals did not deliver at least for me.
