I found 30 packs of still cold salmon in our Aldi dumpster, almost $350 worth. I was able to share with 2 other families. Everyone said it was really good. I love watching the videos to see what you find. I often feed my family of 7 for free. It is amazing what is thrown away!

Love hearing this. What a sin for fish to be killed to be thrown away into landfills tbat rot, which create methane, which creates global warming. Soooo glad u stopped a part of that atrocity!! Love salmon too! 👏👏👍👍

I just came back from shopping Aldi. I grabbed two cauliflower pizzas, with 2.00 off each, only because FD always raves about them. Love the haul! 👍👍👍

You got some high class viddles!!!!! Remember when Danon Yogurt had wax paper cups with fruit pictures? I used to collect them, but it got thrown away. So many things to eat for the footballer game. Good eating on Sunday night. Send the blue cheese to your mom. BBQ the steak for dinner. So lucky that you when diving at this time.

Back in the day, folks seemed to bring baskets in the front door then take them out the garage door for garage sales and many were free. I used to have a bit of a collection which I used as planters. I often lined them with some torn up sheeting or other fabric and they lasted a good 2 to 3 years.

Frugal mommy, I watched a video today I want to share the information with you. Place the potatoes you are going to plant in some dirt, cover with more dirt, and lightly water. Let sit and grow for 5 days and then pull out the dirt. Cut into pieces with the roots on it and put some of the dirt on the new cut places. Let dry for a few minutes, and plant in a mound of dirt. Cover and sprinkle with egg shells on top. Let grow until they start dieing down. And then harvest the potatoes!

Make some nacho cheese sauce to dip the pretzel bites in frugal mommy...yum! You have tons of game food in this haul! Pizza, snacks, chips, dips, dumplings, sodas, cider ect ect! Enjoy the game 😋

Boom Chicka Boom y'all. I got busted by the local police for dumpster diving at a grocery store. Cop called it criminal trespassing, and I am officially banned from the property. Lucky me. No fine or jail time, but I'm pretty bummed out over it. 😒

I have to tell you , I wish I knew about dumpster diving when my kid was little. I would probably have been out every night after she went to bed or when she went to her dad's at least. I'm trying to get someone to come with me now.

I used to DD when my kids were young, but there wasn't a lot of food. It was mostly big ol boxes of laundry detergent that had a knife slice in the box and great stuff like that.

The breads etc., etc., This should have been titled Super Healthy solid week grocery haul for free...my goodness. Very love the basket and lovely that you are using it for spare throws. Artisan lettuce is the only one I buy. It is now six dollars for four but I still buy it. there is no waste. I put some water in the bottom of the container and it keeps fresh in the fridge.

With your watermelon, put it in a pan of hot oil,. If you put in the rind take it out when the oil is red and watermelon flavored, then pop popcorn in it. GREAT

Mix rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper with the ground lamb, form into patties, and grill. Easy peasy. Serve with mint jelly if you are mint jelly types of people.

Great haul. Where will u fit it all. Is ur extra freezer as big as a refrigerator? Hopefully the ppl u give items to take a good amount. The small cucumbers r great for bringing into pickles. U have the jars. Takes 1/2 hour to make pickles. Those r the perfect size, but they wouldn’t last in my house either if there was a dip nearby. 🤣🤣👏👏

Save the pickle brine from your favorite pickles, wash and put those baby cucumbers in the brine. They will pickle. Make sure the cucumbers are Completely covered. Can only reuse the brine once.

Wow, all those eggplants; right away my mouth was watering for Eggplant Parmesan and also baba ganoush with those mini naan bread, toasted. Then saw the ground lamb goes perfectly with eggplants.
