Great Explanation. Would be very helpful if you add returning/Retain Customer and show KPI of count of new Customer, Lost customer and Returning customer. Thank You in Advance

hi zuber, sorry for late reply...its easy.. u can filter your customer table for only those customers who have zero sales in last n months then apply countrows on this table ..this way u will get count of lost customers. LOST CUSTOMER COUNT = COUNTROWS(FILTER(CUSTOMER, [SALES LAST 2 MONTHS]=0)),,,,,,,, similarly u can filter your customer table for only those customers who have total sales = sales of last 2 months (example) then apply countrows on this table ..this way u will get count of new customers... NEW CUSTOMER COUNT = COUNTROWS(FILTER(CUSTOMER, [TOTAL SALES]= [SALES LAST 2 MONTHS]))

Hi, I was stuck on this from sometime and other solutions were making me more confused, but you explained this concept so so easily. But further when I am trying to find count of lost customers, I put the dax [COUNTROWS(FILTER(Orders, [SALES LAST 2 MONTHS]=0))] which you have mentioned in below comments, but that's returning blank. Could you please help with count. Thanks a lot.

hi sir, sorry for late reply...its easy.. u can filter your customer table for only those customers who have zero sales in last n months then apply countrows on this table ..this way u will get count of lost customers. LOST CUSTOMER COUNT = COUNTROWS(FILTER(CUSTOMER, [SALES LAST 2 MONTHS]=0)),,,,,,,, similarly u can filter your customer table for only those customers who have total sales = sales of last 2 months (example) then apply countrows on this table ..this way u will get count of new customers... NEW CUSTOMER COUNT = COUNTROWS(FILTER(CUSTOMER, [TOTAL SALES]= [SALES LAST 2 MONTHS]))
