Actually the default answer for whether a “foreigner” likes Taiwan may not be yes, or obviously otherwise he/she would not be there. Some people may not have the freedom to go as they please.

Interesting to hear that Lucy comes from a small island closely to south of Britain. Do your parents or siblings still live in the small island ? Is their a bridge that connects Isle of Wight and Britain or the passengers have to take an airplane to the small island from Britain ?
