Day 3 see's us carrying out searches close to Loch Dochard, Bridge of Orchy, Scotland for missing hiker Neil Skinner who went missing on the 8th May 2022

Great memorial for Neil and his family...and great on you to be out there looking and I can only imagine some comfort to family and friends. Can certainly see how easily I'd get lost in such a remote area where each way you look it would look similar. All the very best to you and make sure to keep warm and safe yourself! Bruce and Otis

Thanks Bruce, yes hopefully it will comfort some of Neil's family and friends. It's hard work out there in that kind of terrain and those weather conditions, especially for 7 days. With a lot of luck and perseverance one day Neil will be found. I will not give up. Atb Bill.

Yeah, I agree Bill winter is striped back and reveals all. I mean nests in the canopy of trees are always visible. But hats off bro for the research - you've fully immersed yourself in the mystery. I reckon the athorities aught to consult you. Other than the search the mountains were looking awesome. A but nippy eh? All the best. Mark

Surely Police Scotland took a statement from his two friends?

Yes as far as I know the police are happy with the two friends statement. It's been reported that they have not contacted the family since and have not got involved in any of the arranged meets. Again it has been reported that they stated they didn't want to get in the way. Again all these reports could be wrong and behind the scenes they maybe helping the family. I don't get involved on the family side of things, it's obviously very sensitive for the family. I have a copy of the official search map so I am working from that. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack but the dogs are a big help.
