Newborns are super noisy but it’ll settle down with time and you’ll learn to decipher all the noises:) treasure these days even with all of the sleep deprivation and adjustments. It goes so fast! You two are bossing it as new parent's to your adorable twins. One thing I really love is that while the boys are asleep you get on with life and are not whispering as you fear waking them up. I watched another KZfaq couple who had a new baby and when he slept, even in another room, they whispered the whole time and were terrified of making a noise 🤷. You are both so real and natural. Good for you Ell at sticking to your guns about not breast feeding and pumping instead. Some of these midwives/nurse can get quite stroppy, especially the older generation ones. I have 3 sons, all now in their 30’s, I was 19 when I had my first, I was bullied into breast feeding by the nurse he just couldn’t latch on, for 10 days I struggled, I had to stay in because of blood thinning issues, it wasn’t until I got home that I switched him to formula, it was such a relief. My other two went straight on formula in the hospital, I wasn’t standing for any guilt trips again. So well done Ell xx

My babies are 36,31 & 22. They've all moved out and it's been really hard!! I feel like it was only yesterday when I had my 1st baby. That was in 1986 😳 then 1991 and 2000. I had a baby a decade..lol. It really does go by lightning fast. When they are little it doesn't feel like it's going fast because your so busy, but looking back it feels like the snap of a finger. Enjoy your time with your sweet gorgeous baby's 😍 You two are doing an incredible job❣️❣️

We had our MCDA boys 4 months ago and did the same regarding not breastfeeding! A big reason added was because we also have a 1 and 2 year old haha but I couldn’t imagine having to breastfeed them both and the mental and physical strain of it. Props to the mama’s who’ve done it though, but honestly if you don’t it doesn’t make you any less of a mum either 🤍

if your boys suffer with wind or keep crying due to the wind, it could be due to shaking the milk bottle as when u shake them they form air bubbles, just swirl them around :) my kids both suffered so badly and i never knew it was cause i was shaking the bottles

Ell & Fab you are smashing being fantastic parents to your baby boys. It is great that Fab works from home so you can do it together #TagTeamParents 💙💙 I was crying (which is rare 4 me) before I watched your Vlog & it really cheered me up, so Thankyou so much. Fab the word you were looking for is "Dad Bod" 😂 my husband said it hit him he was a dad when he bought his clothes from the same place we bought our food shopping 😂 The hospital pressures all mum's to breastfeed & I think it's wrong. I breastfed & pumped with my 1st child & she is 23 yrs old now but with my 3 boys I used formula & the '8,12,4' method & all of my 4 babies dropped the 4am feed & slept from the midnight feed through to their 8am feed at 1 month old, which shocked us ~ we were scared 1st of all & freaked out but we looked into the moses basket & our daughter was happily asleep thank goodness. My Midwife & health visitor told us to make everything bright & loud in the day, to carry on with music on, the tv, the doorbell going, the vacuum on, curtains open, all normal daily noises & light, to wash the babies faces put clean babygros/Sleepsuit or outfits on AND then at night completely change it to dark, dim, quiet, curtains closed, blackout blinds behind the curtains, dream feeds, dream winding & dream nappy changes with bedtime routine, talking quietly, putting them in the Nightime Babygros/Sleepsuits etc apparently this was to acclimatise my baby to the difference between night & day because in the womb when you walk around all day they get rocked asleep and when I had led down at night they woke up and apparently they get night & day mixed up. Also I got told everytime I went into the nursery/their bedroom to put clothes away, I should put my baby into the cot for them to get used to it & have a bit of a stretch for 10 minutes, then when I was finished sorting out their clothes to pick them up again out of the cot. I did what was advised & it worked although my baby looked like a dot on an A4 page 😂😍 The only thing, no-one told me is sometimes baby wakes in the middle of the night in Winter because they get cold backs, it was only when I asked for advice everyone said the same "Put an under blanket on the mattress before putting the fitted sheet on" & it works! My daughter has a baby (my gorgeous grandson Zachee) who turnt 2 last week & I always will stand by this "In my own personal opinion babies cry for a reason because that is their only way of communication. My baby could be saying please pick me up I have wet through my nappy(I absolutely hate 'controlled crying' if u can't pick up your baby how do you know if they are wet through), I am hot, I am cold, I had a bad dream, I have a tummyache, I am over tired, I feel scared, I am thirsty, I am hungry, I would like a dummy, I have hiccups, I am in pain, I have windy-pops, I need a cuddle etc" Literally I would never leave an adult crying so why would I ever leave my own child crying? I wouldn't! Sorry guys mini rant over, I just hate controlled crying. You 2 are on it like sonic when it comes to parenting twins, I found it berely manageable with 1 baby at a time 😁 Also I would like a little bit of advice if that's alright, if not then that's absolutely fine. My question is if you get pregnant after ttc for 3 years & then have the baby would a Gynaecologist or GP advise to go on birth control at 6 weeks Postnatal or take into account that it has taken 3 years to conceive so it would probably take that long again? Ell, I don't know if you can go to the gym until your 6 week Postnatal check lovely lady This Christmas is extra special as you get your 1st 'Mummy & Daddy' Christmas Card & Christmas presents from Ari👶 & Noah👶🎄🎅🎁 which is so cute & adorable 💕 Congratulations Mummy & Daddy you really are doing fantastically💙👶👶💙 👏👏👏 Sending Positive Vibes From Star 🌟

Well done with breast feeding and the pumping Ell, I tried pumping with my first one (35 years ago) and I think they have improved a lot since then as the two different ones I tried really hurt, so I gave up. Time really does go so fast and you dont feel like they are babies for very long at all xx

Hi Fab and Ell and little Noah and Ari, Thankyou for sharing your two weeks as first time parents to two gorgeous boys. Your both doing amazing, I’ve had 4 boys all single pregnancies and with each one in the first few weeks my emotions were all over the place it’s completely normal especially with getting used to sleepless nights, getting into some sort of routine but you will get there it’s a mixture of emotions having a family but so so worth it your boys are so precious, enjoy every minute. Well done Ell with your breast milk that’s fantastic and I applaud you for sticking to your guns and bottle feeding them breast milk it’s your decision as a family it’s what will work best for you guys and the little ones.
