If you haven't heard by now, we are pregnant!! This video shows the raw reactions from when we first found out Cass was pregnant. We talk about what led up to that moment, how we've been since, and an update on the pregnancy so far!
We appreciate all the love we received last week and are so blessed to have so many people rooting us on! It means the world to us and we are forever grateful. I have watched SO many announcements. So many. This one, this is it. The honesty you both showed here is beautiful. So many people can relate to that immediate 'No!' When they see that positive test. And there is nothing wrong with that. I have 4 kids, and that was our reaction for number 1 and number 4 lol. When you're not actively trying, it's still a shock. I'm thrilled that you both are in a great place with your pregnancy. Thank you for sharing this with everyone. I hope more people see this and know they are not awful for not being totally ready. This reminded me so much of when my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our first 🥹 I was 22 and we had only been married a little over a year. The memory of that test popping up positive is still so vivid. Now I’m 28 and had my third baby 4 months ago 💕

Our first 'oops' has been the biggest blessing in our lives. You'll learn and grow a lot through this, I remember being scared and panicked when I found out. Every pregnancy after that was seen in a much more positive light. Congrats to you both, you got this, it's going to be ok

This is so sweet & I love that you posted your raw reactions. I was a very young mother and I bawled when I found out. It was my wrong doing, but now I wouldn’t trade my baby boy (who’s now 9 and we’ve added two more to the bunch) for the world. You guys will be great parents! When you aren’t trying it comes as such a surprise. It’s hard to be excited when you haven’t mentally prepared for everything that comes to be a parent. This is exactly what happened to me and my hubby. 9 months into marriage we got pregnant. But not I have a 9 month old and my husband is the best dad and I love being a mom more than anything in life. You guys are going to fall into your roles wonderfully, it’ll be hard at times but nothing will bring you guys more joy then this little blessing 🤍🤍

We had a similar experience ! We weren’t trying but we also knew it was a possibility. I felt guilty for feeling the way I did at the time but now looking back I realize how normal of a reaction it is. Unexpected doesn’t mean unwanted or unloved. Those words repeated in my head for months. Our daughter is 2 now and she’s the best thing to ever happen to us but in that moment there’s so much unknown and sooo many fears! Congratulations ❤️

I think your reaction is beautiful. It shows you understand the gravity of it all! Many blessings to you. Even though babies come with trials, you will experience a joy and love like no other! Yea.. when i found out i was bawling my eyes out because i didn’t want to be, i didn’t feel ready. My husband and I had just gotten married a couple months before, and we did not plan it at all. I genuinely considered abortion, but the moment I had my first doctors appointment, we heard a little fast heartbeat, and we both cried. After that it was it, i was having this baby. Im now 35 weeks and am so excited to meet our baby girl ❤️

Crazy, the same thing happened to me… I was almost 6 months into my marriage when we found out we were expecting. It was a complete shock to the both of us and we really battled with it early on because we didn’t know if we were ready! I’ll be 9 months tomorrow and even though I’m still really nervous, I’m more grateful and excited now. My husband is just full blown excited and ready for our baby boy to arrive lol. Instead of having a gender reveal or baby shower, we toured Europe for 2 weeks. We went to Madrid Spain, Munich Germany, Lisbon Portugal and Venice Italy so our baby has travelled with us about 5 times before his arrival just like yours lol. We also went to Puerto Rico for 4 days so that makes it 5. We wanted to get some bucket list traveling taken care of before he gets here. Love this so much! Congratulations on your bundle of joy ❤
