It would be considered a small litter, lol. I've known mama dogs who had 15 puppies. Of course, dogs and cats have multiple uteruses, so it's a little different. The pups/kitties can be conceived on different days and by different males.

I thought I was going to throw myself off a cliff w just one. All i kept saying to my Dr. was, "No fucking way!" over & over & over again. I wasn't trying & was double birth control...the chances were nill. That was 23 years ago...she's awesome!

My Aunt's grandma had twins. Two years later she twins. On top of this she had a five year old. It was so stressful on her that she went to a mental hospitals for a month. After that she relied heavily on extended family for support, to the point that here kids were basically jointly raised by their grandparents. So yeah it is hard to cope.

I've noticed that the amount of noise from the crowd is inversely proportional to the number of babies that have to exit in the future. Only dogs can hear quintuplet announcements.

As a mum of triplets no one helps a few people came over when they were 1st born stayed for no longer than an hour said this is too much then left 😅🤣😂 my triplets are 16 months now

True. A friend of mine had tripplets when they already had a 2 year old. 4 daughters. I tried to help as much as I could but in the end couldn't since I had a baby to take care of too and ended up developing a debilitating illness, so I'm in a wheelchair now. None of their other friends or family helped out or checked in on them. THey're so stressed and messed up that they are just exhausted to the brink of tears. The tripplets are 5 now. They applied for help from the county but were denied. There's no help for multiple births. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Just imagine how their life will be when the girls become teens.

This is EXACTLY why the first thing I offer my good friends is my time, after everyone else goes home. It takes between two to three weeks for the “New Baby Novelty” to wear off on one baby and three to four for multiples, in my experiences. That’s when the visits stop or become really really far apart, and it becomes hard to shower or even go to the bathroom sometimes. So I always worry about moms and especially multiple moms more so right around then.

@@BMass83 I'm lucky if friends visit once a month and the only family that visits ( from my side, his family lives interstate but they do visit when they can) is my mum but she can't really help because she's on dialysis every day. It's tough both physically and mentally not getting any respite or help when you have 4 boys (5yr old and 16 month old triplets) but I love my kids and hold onto the hope that things will gradually improve.

@@jaciriley123 whew Mama you are one tough chick! I was down at my bff’s at least 3 to 4 times a week helping out after her babies came. I knew she needed help and support and I was there. I didn’t even want her to have to think about it. She did the same for me.

Exactly, I'd be terrified and crying if I found out about it. They will definitely be preemies. Lots of scary times ahead. And all the work once they are at home. For the next 18 years 😂

Multiple pregnancies can pose risks, but advancements in modern medicine have made it safe for both the babies and the mother. As a medical caregiver, I am proud that we have been able to reduce the maternal mortality rate and give parents the peace of mind should or when these situations present it self. Cheers 🥂

Aussie women must love when they find this out. It means 4 baby payments and a whole lot of Government money for the next 18 years. I was with a girl who had 2 babies ( One was 11 weeks old, other was 2 years old) she was getting almost $2500 every fortnight.

How wonderful that our Australian system allows families to truly celebrate multiple births without all the panic about how they are going to raise their future Aussies, hey? How much better is that than spending a pregnancy with multiples stressing about how youre going to afford even the basics that a baby needs, much less multiple babies. Add that to cost effective health care and we do really live in one of the luckiest countries in the world........and all these multiple babies means that there may be someone there to provide all the services you need as you enter your old age. By the way, its NOT government money. They dont own it, just manage it. That money belongs to all of us and I for one am proud that our country cares for our children. Trust me, the $2500 doesnt go very far with multiple children and a household to run. With rents these days, that money mostly goes to the basics.

I don’t know but I would bet that if these couples are at a doctors office getting these ultrasounds and the doctor sees there is 4 or 5 they are going to inform the couple that this is a high risk pregnancy but I just like everyone of these couples saw 4 or 5 on my wife’s ultrasound she like me has said what are they suppose to do because I bet none planned this but again what are the options because seems that these couples like me and my wife don’t believe in abortion. So it blows my mind how people can say they don’t understand the risk when I bet they do and also what choice would you suggest to them what would be their options abort the pregnancy. I would be thrilled just like everyone of the couples and the family members who will be there for them.
